Kat scrambled backwards, unable to figure out what she was more terrified of. The wolves, or Ian's pleasure in killing. She watched the man wear a grim smile through the entire attack, his own chuckle ringing out every now and again. Kat gulped, a sudden pain calling her from her fear. Her hand went to her shoulder, warm blood swelling around her fingers. Kat could smell the bone marrow, her bright blue eyes flicked down to her shin, seeing the dark liquid pumping out of it also.

Kat clenched her teeth, waiting for the wolves to go away so she could fix her own leg.

Ian finished off the last wolf, a few limping away, only to fall and die during their escape. he turned to look down at kat, and frowned.
"Fix yourself up." He ordered, sheathing his knife.

"You don't think that i'm all ready trying?!" Kat barked, her own pain making her edgy. She gave a frustrated sigh and reached in her satchel, grabbing some bandages and flinching as she started weakly wrapping her shin.

Ian looked around while he waited for Kat to patch herself up, adrenaline pumping through his veins. He needed more, something else. Maybe if there was only one more wolf..He huffed, leaning against a tree to calm himself down.

Once Kat made a splint for her shin she moved to her shoulder, "Ian, I need your help." She asked, noticing how she couldn't wrap the bandage around her dislocated shoulder.
"You need to pop my shoulder back it." She said, knowing how badly it would hurt.

"Sure why not.." Ian grunted, moving behind Kat. With no fare warning, he cracked Kat's shoulder back into place with ease, shivering as he felt the bone under her skin.

Kat yelped, immediately clapping her hand around her shoulder and feeling tears prick her eyes. She took a deep, shaking breath, then begin to wrap her arms up into a sling. Kat stop shakily, whimpering as her shin screamed to be relieved. Her eyes looked over Ian, he had a gash running up his arm. Kat limped over to him, her bandages held tightly in her hand.
"Here." She said, grabbing Ian's arm lightly and wrapping it.

Ian watched Kat curiously as she wrapped up his arm, and then frowned, cocking his head ever-so-slightly.
"Why..did you do that?" He asked in a wary tone.

"I don't know." Kat said softly. She tucked away her bandages and sighed, "Because I'm not as bad as eveyone thinks." she decided, beginning to walk again, but it wasn't long before she cringed and whimpered a bit. Kat took a deep breath, and walked a little farther.

Ian sighed, seeing as Kat was in no condition to be walking. He strutted forward and picked her up, bridal style, and began carrying her silently.

Kat frowned, not liking being carried one bit. "I-I'm fine, really." She said, trying to struggle out of Ian's grasp.

"No you're going to kill yourself if you keep walking and that takes all the fun out of my job late so I think I'll keep you alive." Ian growled back.

Kat huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and pouting, "When are we going to stop and sleep?" She asked.

"Now I suppose. We're out of the village limits, between towns now." Ian said, setting Kat down rather roughly.

Kat landed with a 'oof' and frowned. She dug into her satchel and handed Ian a blanket.
"Here." She said, bringing out another for herself. Kat looked at the stars, and sighed, wishing for her parents at the moment.
