"I'll say." Rodney whimpered as they started to walk slowly toward the entrance.

Gilbert entered first, and looked around, before turning back to them.
"Well..sure is dark in here."

The mine was helpful enough to provide torches still left on the rock walls. "Hey look!" Dean said. He lit them as they moved deeper and deeper into the mine, motioning for everybody to grab one as he did.

Gilbert followed, his red eyes flickering around, as they ventured deeper into the cave.

"Ugg, this is so creepy." Alice sighed, walking close to Gil.

Dean had started walking ahead of them. The shaft went on for what felt like miles. And it was getting more and more dangerous with each step. Loose support beams, more railways sticking out of the ground, cobwebs making Dean wave his hands infront of his face. Doing so, he tripped over something and went tumbling onto his stomach. Somehow, the lantern managed to stay intact during the fall. As the dust settled and he was spitting out dirt and tiny pebbles, the lantern lit up a horrific sight. Bodies, dozens of them. Most in middle stages of decomposition. Some children. Infants, even. Dean had tripped over a rib cage, which was now also housing a skull, flesh still attached and blue-brown with rot. He flipped onto his back, shuffling away, pushing the ground with his feet.

"Dean!" Alice called, quickening her pace.

"No! Stay there!" he ordered and Alice stopped.

Gilbert perked, walking over and helping Dean up.

"My God," He said, rising off the ground, patting the dust off himself. "Who the f*ck could do this?" He picked up the lantern once more and carefully stepped over the bodies. There were so many. Some nailed to the walls. Half eaten.

Rodney and Alice came over. Alice whimpered and covered her mouth, closing her eyes tightly. Rodney just made a wretched face.

"The creatures.." Gilbert's voice echoed down the mineshaft, and was answered by a shreik. "Here they come.." He growled, bracing himself to see them.

Dean felt something brush against his leg, he looked over his shoulder, and thought he could see the silhouette of a fox. It moved quickly toward the wall and Dean whirled around to try and see it. There was no fox... what had he seen... in the faint light he saw a crate of dynamite!

Gilbert spotted the crate and quickly whipped around.
"C'mon guys we gotta get out of here!" He said.

Dean nodded and started to run up toward the exit, the hissing getting louder. Out of the corner of his eyes, Dean again saw that silhouette of the fox. It raced back toward the hissing, making Dean stop in his tracks and turn around. He saw Alice fall and a creature creep up behind her. "Alice!" Dean shouted racing back to her.

"Dean!" she cried, kicking the creature in the face. It hissed fiercely and tried to bit her.

Dean snarled and hit the creature over the head with the lantern. He then grabbed Alice and pulled her along with him. After Rodney and Gil, he looked back at the creature which started up after them. Until that silhouette darted into it's path and it skidded to a stop hissing fiercely. "C'mon Alice!" Dean shouted as they both ran after their friends.

Gilbert saw more of them coming and he whipped around after his friend's were safely out. He shot menacing glares at them and thought something that made them stop. After words, he walked out cooly and rejoined the group.

Alice was clinging to Dean, her arms wrapped around him and her eyes squeezed shut.

Rodney clutched the book, looking like he was going to have a panic attack.

Gilbert looked at them and laughed.
"You guys look so scared. Wish I had my camera.." He mused, eyes lockin on the book in Rodney's hands.
"You see somethin' else?"

"Oh no no, just a little spazzed... we where almost killed!" Rodney said.

Alice blinked and quickly let go of Dean, herface bright red when he grinned at her.
