Greene winced when he saw Haruki get stabbed and stepped out o the way.
"Uhmm.." He whimpered.
"He's right there!" Pat chimed, pointing behind Greene. The green furry whipped around an fired his gun.

"Hmm!" Ghirahim laughed, quickly clutching the bullet in his hand, crumpling it to pieces.

That bullet would have normally damaged him... but something was different. His hands were surrounded by a dark purple, shadowy aura.

"So long as you continue to telegraph your attacks, I'll continue to intercept them!" Ghirahim said ominously, and once more! Vanished...

"Gaah..." Haruki coughed, blood streaming from his lips. "We have to... trick him... Hurk!"

Greene smirked, he was great at tricking people. He began to think of where Ghirahim would next be, and then thought of the most obvious route to get to him. Then, once the lord appeared, he quickly changed hi course and fred a bullet at the lord's forehead.

"Again?" Ghirahim sighed, his image distorting as he dodged it.

...But he hadn't noticed Haruki from behind!

"Auh?! GAAH!" Ghirahim hissed in pain as both Greene's bullet and Haruki's blade were thrust through his chest. Though despite how soft his skin looked, he didn't bleed. He had taken some damage, though.

"YOU WRETCHED BRATS!" Ghirahim boomed, warping to the other side of the room. He snapped his finger, and red magical daggers spanned in the air. "Hyah!" he yelled, thrusting his arm forward as the daggers spiraled and spirred forward--straight for Haruki!

Greene saw that coming to, and quickly grabbed a shield that he hadnt noticed sitting around and stepping infront of his friend.

"Um... dude..." Haruki began patiently, gently poking Greene's shoulders. "THOSE THINGS CAN'T BE BLOCKED WITH A SHIELD!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, all too late though, as the two were both impaled!

Haruki fell to the ground. Lifeless.

"Mm ha! Only two lives left for you!" Ghirahim laughed, once more vanishing!

Greene coughed and tumbled backwards, landing beside Haruki. He whimpered and clutched his stomach and Pat ran over.
"Bro I wish I could help but my remote dont work against the bosses!"

Haruki's body vanished, fading into sparks and sprinkles of dust. Afterward, he reappeared in the same position, albeit standing up, and feeling a tad dizzy.
"Ugh... I think I just died..." he moaned, trying to keep his balance as he held one paw to his forehead.

Sounds like slurping could be heard then, and to the side it was Ghirahim--licking the blood off his blade. With a smile on his face, he turned to see Haruki, now hanging on to Pat's arms for fear of falling.
"Oh? You're back again, I can see!" Ghirahim laughed, dark and evil. "Let's just see how many times I can slay you until it can be considered a slaughter! Hm hm hm hm!"

The Demon Lord crouched down and readied his slender blade, grasping the hilt firmly, and then at impossible speeds, ran toward Pat and the vulnerable Haruki!
"Ghn... Noo..." Haruki gasped.

Pat raised his eyebrows and pulled Haruki behind him, and allowed himself to take the blade. He groaned in pain and stumbled backwards, looking up with a glare, his neon green eyes flecked with hatred. Greene snarled something under his breath and chucked a rock at Ghirahim's face.

"...Did you really just attempt to fight back? Foolish boy..." Ghirahim scowled, scrolling his eyes over to Greene. As he walked nearer to the Furry, his steps slow and quietened, he delivered a strong kick, sending him sprawling against the wall.

"You should learn to play dead like the cur you are!"
"Don't... touch him..." Haruki tried, his words uttered in little more than a whisper.

Ghirahim, tired of playing around, gripped the fur around Greene's neck and hoisted him into the air. His other hand which held the black and foreign blade would... do the rest.

"See what it means to oppose m--"
"NOOOO!!" the black and white Furry cried, thrusting his sword through Ghirahim's chest.
"MM?!-- AAAGH!" Ghirahim gasped in pain, reeling backwards until he, himself, was pushed against a wall.

In the Trial of Games, the more lives you lose, the less strength you have left--even when you are revived. That is simply how it works, for once you are depleted of the preternatural energy you have from the start, the Games begin drawing from your real energy--delving into the very pits of one's soul.

Then how... did Haruki...?

"This is a mistake... A child like you... Could never..." Ghirahim choked, holding his chest. Haruki's Magic Sword rested through his chest still.

Greene moaned and groaned in pain, thriving around on the floor. Pat knelt down beside him and frowned sadly.

"Impossible..." came the lamentation of the once-great Demon Lord Ghirahim, barely throwing the sword lodged in his chest to the side.

"You... are just a child! An infant! What are you...?!"
"The guy... who just killed you." Haruki barked back, though weakened and quiet as he fell to his knees.
"N-No...! My purpose is not yet fulfilled..." Ghirahim gasped in pain, leaning against the wall to squirm away.
"NEVER!" the Furry cried in rage as he gouged his fists into the demon!
"AAAHHHHH!!" Ghirahim cried in anguish, only to explode and disperse into millions of specks of diamonds.

The battle... was over.

"Greene... Buddy..." Haruki moaned, crawling slowly but surely to his weakened friend. He wanted to get closer, but he couldn't move any more. He neared his face to his green friend's, and rested it there. ...He was asleep.

Pat watched the lord disappear and snorted.
"Good riddance, pal." He huffed, leaning against the wall in boredum. He looked down at Greene who shivered and then blinked looking around and sitting up.
"That..hurt."

"..Zzz..." came Haruki's drowzy snoring.

If he were to proceed, he'd have to be carried, it seemed.

Greene snored lightly as well, and Pat just watched them boredly.
