"Alright, you brute! What is it you want then?" asked Rarity, growing.

"Ah, nice question," said Ruin, smirking. "It's rather simple, really. I want the same thing Discord and Nightmare Moon desired, the world to be how I see fit," he stated, before spinning around and transforming into Discord. He snapped his fingers, causing the group, including Spike, to be shown his vision of the world, just as Discord had shown Twilight the past to show he'd never said the Elements were in the maze. Equestria was in ruins, everypony toiling endlessly and suffering before Ruin. He vanished into smoke and appeared behind Rarity. "Look, isn't that you're little sister?" he asked, smirking and pointing.

Rarity gasped, seeing something in the illusion that made her heart just snap in half. The illusionary Sweetie Belle was being whipped to force her to pull a large mining cart full of gems out of a mine, covered in lacerations, burses, and welts. "No... Sweetie Belle..." she muttered, tears forming in her eyes at the sight of her precious little sister in such a state. Even if Sweetie Belle got on her nerves from time to time, Rarity loved her with all her heart and this... It just wasn't right...

OOC: This is mainly to enrage the group, so they're pretty much going to see the thing they'd hate the most to see.

Ruin chuckled. "My my, aren't you angry?" he asked, smirking. "And I haven't even gotten to showing you what I have in store for Cloudsdale and your heroes the Wonderbolts yet," he said, smirking, and snapping his fingers.

Twilight was struggling to hold back Fluttershy, not knowing if she could get hurt by the fire or not. She gasped in horror at the sight Ruin had constructed for Rainbow Dash. Cloudsdale was in ruins, like everywhere else, and for a second she thought was full of Earth Ponies for some reason... But then looked closer and saw they were all Pegasi with their wings cut off, most being put to slavery like everypony else. To her horror, Spitfire and Soarin' were presently chained down on rock slabs with some more of the shadows posed over them with axs, stretching out their wings in preperation to do the same to them as everypony else, the other Wonderbolts being held in chains nearby, awaiting the same fate. Twilight averted her eyes as the axs came down, tears streaming down her face. "Please... Make it stop..." she muttered, horrified by these images, by her friends being tormented like this. As strange as it was, she'd rather seen Discord's Equetria than Ruin's right now...

OOC: I have the strange feeling I'd be a horrible kids show writer...

OOC: True, though the Pegasi with their wings cut off wouldn't go well.

Ruin didn't flinch at all, and smirked sinisterly as the illusions started around each of them again. "Oh, is that the best you can do?" he asked with a sinister smirk. "And whose to say I'm not fighting you? Just because I'm not physically attacking you?"

Twilight watched her friends suffering from their illusions and the pain the images caused them, which she could see as well, as could Pinkie Pie. She heard voices in her head, coming from the shattered crowns.

"Why did you fail us, Twilight? Why didn't you save us?" asked Celestia's and Luna's voices.

Fluttershy cried out in pain, repeatedly trying to reach into a burning bush to save a illusionary version of Angel, getting burned repeatedly, though like the images, the pain was an illusion. Tears ran down her face as she struggled to try and save her friend. Rage filled her towards Ruin. Fluttershy rarely felt angry AT ALL, but now she wanted to HURT Ruin.

Rarity's own hatred rose up in her as she watched the suffering of her little sister in the illusion.

Twilight's tears started again. She looked around at her hurting friends and fury rose up in her body. "Stop! Leave them alone!" she yelled, glaring daggers at Ruin in pure fury.
