Luca's ears perked when the mutant fell dead, he raced over to Felix and Scotty, who still didn't show any signs of life. The dog whined and nudged the boy's hand but he didn't respond.

Scotty had been bitten by the mutant, but it couldn't be seen, it was on his shoulder and covered by his hoodie. The toxin had paralyzed the boy and put him into a state that made him seem dead. Scotty knew that Felix and Luca where there but he couldn't show them he was okay. He knew that if you got bitten you became a mutant, but the bite wasn't deep enough to instantly make him a mutant... it would take some time.

Alfred rushed over to Scotty, seeing how he was out;. He shook the shoulder he was bitten on, and sighed, but then looked at his hand and saw blood on it.
"Oh sh** man, Scotty got bit." Alfred muttered, and Arthur stared down at him.
"He's going to turn into one of them." He growled, feeling the urge to go ahead and kill his 'friend.'

Luca listened to the boys and lowered his ears whimpering. As he looked over at Felix.

Max, waitig until evryone else handled the mutant, ran outside. "Is he okay?" the boy asked. "How bad is he hurt? I can help move him..." the quiet boy could definately talk if someone was hurt. "He didn't get bit, did he?" he looked at Felix, "He didn't, right?"

Arthur continued to frown apon Scotty's limp body.
"He did. He's going to turn into one of them." He growled, and Alfred looked worriedly up at his friend.

Luca whimpered and looked up at the other humans, he flattened his ears and looked down and Scotty, nudging his hand again hoping for any kind of reaction, but got none.

"What do we do?" Alfred asked Arthur, who was very good in the medical field.
"Well...He's going to turn into one of those mutants..So we'll end up killing him anyways.." He said, and Alfred's eyes widened.
"You can't kill him Iggy!! Come ON theres gotta be a cure or something.." The american whimpered.

Luca looked at Arthur he stood up and stood infront of Scotty snarling menacingly. His fur bristled and he looked half rabid.

Scotty was suddenly released from his paralization, his eyes shot open and he sat up, starting to cough. He stopped and took a few shallow, shaky breaths which made him sound like he had been held underwater.

Luca turned and barked happily.

Arthur gripped the hilt of his sword tightly and Alfred slapped his leg.
"Scotty? You gonna be okay dude?" Alfred asked, thought Arthur continued to eye the boy suspiciously.

"Oh..." Max looked downcast, and when Arthur got ready to kill him, he pulled his crowbar out of his pants pocket, "Think twice before you try anything..." he threatned.
When Scotty coughed, he looked over to him, "You're awake!"

Arthur glared at Maxwell.
"It's not like i was going to kill him on the spot you yank! I would've waited until we was about to turn on us.." The brit growled coldly, sending a death glare at Max. I'd like to see him try and hit me with that thing. I'd have his head before it got within a foot. He thought.

"How was I suppossed to know?" the boy countered, "For all we know, you could've killed him right there on the spot! I'd rather take the risk of getting infected myself than killing someone for my own self, especially if there's still hope of him not turning!"
He then turned to the boy on the ground, "You wanna move inside before I attempt to clean that wound? I got some gauze in my bag..."

"Uh, yeah I'm fine.." he replied to Alfred. When Arthur and Max started fighting he glanced at Luca with confusion but the big dog wagged his tail. He turned and looked at Felix who was and their faces were only a few inches apart so Scotty drew back some. "Uhhh yeah.." he replied to Max.

"Okay, can you get up by yourself?" Max asked. "The best I can do is wrap the guaze around it really tight, to stop and other bleeding... and clean it..."

Felix felt so realized as Scotty opened his eyes "Thank God! You're alive!" She said hugging him around the neck, suddenly Felix pulled back. She knew he should turn mutant at any moment.
