Windseeker found Steri after half a hour. "Enjoying the race?" he asked walking up next to her.

Steri jumped "umm hey dad"

"You know your mother is going to be worried sick right?" he asked sitting down next to her.

"nah"

"Like i said to you a few days ago, It has to happen Steri." Windseeker said.

"and like I said before I won't let it"

"I said it has to be done Steri, nothing can change it now." he said. "we're half way through the race, it's just 6 days now."

She grorwled showig her determination"whatevr"

"Steri, please calm down." Windseeker said. Now he had to start convincing her to go home. "Steri, you have to go home."

"I'm old enough to make my own decisions"

"Steri, I'm not going to argue." Windseeker said. He put his paw on her back. "You know, you're just like your Aunt Aleu." he said. "Smart, loyal, trustworthy, a great leader."

She rolled her eyes 'Dont tey to sugar coat me dad. Im staying"

"Steri, you important to me as well. The last thing I want is for you to get hurt. Ther- There is a reason you stayed with me and your mother. We wanted you to stay. We didn't want to be at the house all day alone with out someone." windseeker explained.

Steri looked at her father with her multicolored eyes. She was always different then her siblings. Where her siblings had easy designs she had her mother and father in her. where her sister Isis could see the dead and communicate. Steri could read minds and see into the future. Where ll her siblings had one colored eye she had two. "Dad i love Rowan i mean i know we had our differences but still"
