Aleu smiled, nuzzling both of the little pups. "You're all so sweet, aren't you? I hope i'll have ones like you." she said with a chuckle, unable to picture herself as a mother.
Kodi, nodded, nuzzling his daughter. "You get more like your mother every day, don't you? And you certainly love your owner."
Katie nodded, smiling. "Yes, that was about the same time."
"That's all I want. i want rosie to be happy." Jenna murmured, nuzzling against her mate.

Kenai and Denali both blushed heavily. "Thank sister, we luv you!"
Lena blushed. "Thanks, papa." she said, smiling. "So, can we give them to Auntie Aleu?"
Cachen nodded cutely. "She was so nice, what happened to her?"
"Balto nodded. "And a Grandmother to boot, suprising, huh?"

Aleu smiled, blushing. "Well, i love you too." she said, beginning to stand up, waking Derbin.
"Sister hurt!" said Blaze, trying to get Aleu to lay back down. "No stand."
Kodi nodded. "If you know how to use them. Most plants like this aren't used inside, they're used for outside wounds."
"She went home." said Katie with a smile. "You're so cute."
Jenna nodded, her tail wagging. "I'm glad she'll live a long life."

Lena nodded and went over to Katie. "Momma, you know more about herbs, I got these to help Auntie Aleu feel better, but I don't know how to use them, just what they do. Can you help me?" she asked with puppydog eyes.
"Yeah, yu hurt!" said Kenai, worried for his big sister.
"Where hurt, sister?" asked Denali, concerned.
Balto nodded. "And to think, there's a movie about us...more importantly, movies sound very intresting. Hard to believe what the world will be like then."

Katie blinked, before giving a big smile. "Well, you did really well for goign it alone. These plants are used exactly for bruises and cuts. Their juices inside help heal skin." she said, grinning. "Just rip the stems open, the goop just pours out."
"We don't have the time for me to heal all the way." Aleu said, lookign concerned. "We need to go find Nava, guys." she said, her limbs shaking, almost standing, before she fell again, grunting in annoyance.
"I can't wrap my head around it." Jenna giggled, before hearing the thud. "Why is she trying to stand?" she asked herself, ears falling back.

Lena nodded. "Thanks momma!" she said, running to her auntie. "Auntie Aleu, lay down, I got medicine for you to help," she said, showing the herbs.
Balto sighed. "You know our kids, stubborn...all of them...where do they get it from?"
Cachen smiled. "Momma...think our baby brothers and sisters will be alright?" he asked, looking at her stomach. "I mean Mako...what if what he did to you hurt them?" he asked, worried for his unborn siblings.

Aleu smiled softly, after being surprised. "So smart." she said, laying down slowly.
Jenna smirked, cocking an eyebrow. "Yes, i wonder where our children got such a stubborn streak." she said, staring squarely at her mate.
"They'll be fine." said Katie, nuzzling her son softly. "They're alive and very strong. They're already kicking some." she said, putting a paw on her growing stomach.

Lena started putting the herbs on how they should, though some stunk or burned at first. "I learned mostly from momma, but my human is a vet, I learned a lot from him."
Balto chuckled. "Yeah, we can BOTH be stubborn some times," he said. "But when you're saving the town, it's a positive trait."

Katie gasped softly, rubbing her paw on her stomach again. "Cachen, do you want to feel?" she asked, smilign at her son. she couldn't think of him as a big brother; only her baby.
Aleu winced, but smiled afterward, as the pain began to numb. "Thank you." she said, relaxing. "I'm glad you're smart. It's better to be smart like this."
Jenna nodded, giving a soft smile. "I know. I suppose it is a good thing."

Cachen giggled. "Sure, Momma." he said, putting his little paw to her belly and waiting.
Lena blushed. "Thanks, Auntie Aleu," she said, wagging her tail. "I like to be able to help my family."
"If I'd not been so stubborn, Steele probably would've killed me on the Sirum Run," said Balto. "Still, hard to believe he's turned his life around."

Katie gasped under her breatjh as the puppies kicked inside her. "Feel them? They're all alive and healthy." she said, closing her eyes.
"You remind me a lot of myself when I was your age." Aleu said with a big smile. "Save that i was actually pretty selfish at a certain point."
Jenna nodded, smiling. "I never tohught I'd be happy to think of him. But he's really changed. I hope he'll be able to come around again. For Goldie's sake at least. I can tell she misses him alot."

Balto nodded. "Still, I wish he'd had the same change of heart the night of the Sirum Run. Ironic that in trying to get fame, he lost all the fame he had, isn't it?"

Tears clung to Katie's eys. She took in a deep breath. "Yes... they'd still be family." she said, taking another breath. What a kind sweet son she had!
Derbin nodded and yawned. "Now I more sleepy."
Aleu blushed, ears goign back. "What does Grandpa say?" she asked, glancign over at her Father.
"It's ironic, all right." Jenna said, looking at the ground. "But, i never told you that i felt bad for him. I was sad to see him go. Though he had the sense to cut his losses and run."

Cachen whined and licked her tears away. "I just wish we knew..."
"Yeah, but we get go with papa!" said Kenai, smiling.
"He told us you had to go a far way away to save a wolfpack," said Lena. "And that you can be a little...stubborn." she put her paw on her auntie's shoulder, checking it out, finding it was dislocated. "Oh...your shoulder's out of the shocket, I'll need help for that."
"Yeah, though he stayed long enough for the Outsider to show up," said Balto. He then chuckled. "And get pranked by you and Tina, remember when you dumpped that pink paint all over him?"

Katie sniffed, nuzzling Cachen. "You know what? i worry about that every day." she said, lickign his cheek. "But hearign you say that means the world to me."
Derbing nodded, his tail wagging slowly. "It be fun to go with Papa." he said, smilign tiredly.
"Like he's one to talk about stubborn." Aleu said, sounding indignant. She winced as she felt her shoulder. "mmf. I didn't even realize that until right now."
Jenna laughed at the memory. "It was funny. Very funny, in fact." she said, tryign her get rid of her giggles. "He deserved it, though."
