Alright, I guess I'll post some news in case some of you don't know. Legend of Korra has been picked up for another 2 seasons. That makes 4 seasons all together! Secondly, we got a bucketload of info about season 2 from Comic Con. Check this website with all the info. http://www.hollywood.com/news/Comic_Con ... s/33795088And here is the concept art and pictures of the new characters, plus the old characters in their new outfits. http://www.tv.com/news/comic-con-2012-s ... tos-29125/But just in case you're too lazy to click links. (I am too, don't worry xD) I will summarize all the info right now. I blocked it just in case people didn't want to be spoiled.

- Book 2 (season 2) will be called "Spirits" - It will take place in the Southern Water Tribe, mostly - Mako became a cop for Republic City - Mako and Korra left the Fire Ferrets, leaving Bolin the new captain - We'll get to see more of Korra's family, including her uncle and two twin cousins - There is a new villain, well, villains actually, and they're evil spirits - Asami took over Future Industries and is helping out it back on top - We'll get to learn more on the history of the Avatar, plus more info on the Spirit World Obviously, I only summarized it, so even more stuff is in those links! Oh, almost forgot. An animatic of season 2 was also shown at Comic Con. Seriosuly, check it out! www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDaqbIBC_ts

I will probably watch it when the season comes out, but I just realized I don't think I've even posted my thoughts about entire the first season:

Of course you know I like the original far better, because there were really just too many problems with the first season for me to get into it. But for me it seemed too rushed. Apparently it was only supposed to be a mini series so I can live with that, however, the relationships between a lot of the characters really put a strain on things for me when I was watching it. There are HUGE gaping plot holes that I don't recall were ever really explained: how Amon was able to take anyone's bending away without being an avatar (because I watched the whole entire ATLAS series extras and they said that was a move only a fully realized avatar was capable of doing, Energy Bending, not blood bending an explanation for that would have been nice. That ugly love triangle that reared its head throughout the whole season! I swear, it reminded me of Twilight: I love you! I don't love you! I like her better! But I like you as well! But I realize I love you more! I thought you loved me! Give. Me. A. Dang. Break. That was extremely rushed, I'm surprised I even got thrown onto the ship, considering how gung ho I was just to let Mako be with Asami, but of course they twisted that at the end as well. And Korra isn't really a full avatar until she can control the avatar state, which means she probably shouldn't have been able to energy bend. How about how it seems like now every firebender can conjure up some lightning? Azula, Ozai, and Iroh could only do it in the whole last series? Why now it's used for generating power? Back to her getting her bending restored, having her just have to relearn everything could have been a new story, but that is probably too easy. How the bloody heck did Korra learn the elements by herself? EDIT: Now that I think about that's kind of Mary Suish, I mean come on =P No avatar does that, except for her apparently.
Korra, ugh, I never warmed up completely to her, when I started to, she did the same things that made me hate her in the first place again. Like there's a point to where I can take over obnoxious females, and she comes off as too feminist for me. Sorry to any Korra fans out there, but unless she mellows out somehow, I doubt I'm going to favor the new avatar anytime soon. Every time they show flashes of the old Avatar gang, I was more intrigued by what happened back then rather than what was happening now in the storyline.
I have high hopes for a second season, just not as high standards.

I have high hopes for a second season, just not as high standards. I totally agree. Although the finale was exciting for me, I did also feel it was rushed, and I didn't notice all those plot holes, but now that you mention it... I'm always going to like TLA better; end of story. LoK was alright also, but I can't ever see myself loving the new Avatar better than the old one. Not even close. *slight spoilers below*

Only reason I loved the finale so much was cause Aang was in it at the end; well kinda sorta. In fact, only reason I started watching it in the first place was cause someone told me Aang would be in it as apart of flashbacks. Sad, I know. But yeah. xD But yes. Finale was good but... rest of the season was average. And they got renewed for two whole new seasons? I get the show's become popular and all but... seriously, what other bad guy/conflict could they possibly bring in...?

I had to dig in and do a little research for some of those myself, but the biggest one for me that me and my bro both talked about was definitely the bloodbending. I mean you can't just take something that's a major factor throughout the whole plot and never explain it. I'm probably in the minority, but I don't understand why this got mostly good reviews or why a lot of people liked it. Heck, the fire ferret entertained me more than Mako and Korra did, and that's kind of sad.

Unfortunately, I agree with you.

Seriously, you can have good "teen-centric" shows without stupid love triangles (or squares); the entire season WAS rushed (especially with the air bending) but I let that go somewhat since it was only supposed to be a mini series. And as far as the finale goes? The writers pretty much uprooted any interest I might have had in seeing the continuation with Korra's series when they had her "remaster" the all of the elements, avatar state, and energy bending all two scenes. Sorry, that's just too convenient to be "realistic"! I still say they could have ended the first season with a cliff hanger after she lost her bendings and picked up the second season from there trying to regain her bending/mastering air bending/avatar state before confronting Amon again...but that's just me. I dunno...blowing up the main villains is just anticlimactic. Oh! And let all the ships crash and burn! (Sorry, I seriously have lost all respect for Mako a LONG time ago, don't really like Asami, and Korra is one of those characters that's almost lovable at times but pretty stupid at others to the point of being downright annoying...) And about the fire ferret...he and Naga should have had more screen time! Pabu is officially the best thing ever! xD

Mako got on my nerves as well. At least Aang chose one girl and stuck with her for three seasons Lol. Sokka had two, but the other one turned into the moon so he has an excuse. I 100% support giving Pabu more screen time.
