Rusty glared at the wolf. "You can still save yours."

The wolf chuckled and started circling Rusty. He said "You look tasty. I can't wait until I eat you and your mate. I will especially savor your mate's taste. Her taste is the most wonderful taste I have ever tasted in my entire life." He licked his canines again and said "Last chance for you to leave."

Wuffrith whined and said weakly but lovingly "Leave me, Rusty. Save yourself." She fell unconscious after that.

Rusty hunched low and only could mutter a low menacing growl. He then sprung through the air knocking the wolf off of Wulffrith and sunk his long sharp canines into his flesh.

The wolf yelped and bit Rusty back, sinking his canines into Rusty's side. He said through his grip on Rusty "We have a fighter but it's inevitable. I WILL eat your mate."

Rusty yelped in pain letting go of the wolf on accident.

"Who sent you?" Rusty asked knowing if there's one there's likely to be others.

The wolf growled furiously and said "I am a lone wolf. Nobody sent me. I was kicked out of my old pack because I was a cannibal. The alphas of that pack were stupid fools. I hate them and their daughter. The alphas, especially the male, truly think that you and you mate will succeed them and become even better alphas than they are. What is this world coming to?" He sunk his canines even deeper into Rusty's flesh, tasting the blood. He went on a frenzy and tried to bite his neck.

Rusty nearly blacked out as his teeth scraped along his spine. He got much weaker right after that and became faint and dizzy. "You will noo..." he couldn't finish his statement before he blacked out.

Wuffrith became conscious when Rusty blacked out. Her instincts told her to kill this wolf who's killing her Rusty before it killed him and she went with them. She sprang up and sank her teeth into the wolf's neck and broke it. She threw the limp body away from her and Rusty and walked towards him. She laid down near him and started licking his wounds caringly.

Rusty laid there motionless not because he was dead but because he didn't have the strength to move anymore.

Wuffrith continued licking his wounds and said through tears "You should have run like I told you too, Rusty. Don't try to be a hero because that will get you killed. You will be lucky if you survive this and if you do then I will beat you up myself for worrying me so much about you."

Rusty managed to whimper but couldn't say anything more than that just to let Wulffrith know he was alright.

Wuffrith looked at Rusty and licked his muzzle. She nuzzled his neck lovingly and said "I.....I......I.....I can't say what I want to, Rusty. Sorry." She curled up beside him, licking her own wound.

Rusty managed to smile and nodded faintly.

Wuffrith smiled and said "Thank you for understanding, Rusty. No other male would have. You are one of the nicest males I know. You aren't possessive in any way and I never wanted to be possessed by anyone before but now I'm not sure." She continued licking her wound until she had enough and laid her head over Rusty's neck, falling to sleep.

Rusty regained some more of his strenght and managed a sentence. "Whatta ya mean?" he asked weakly now able to lift his head.
