Toph is an amazing character. She may have the attitude of a spoiled rotten teenager, but I do have a huge amount of respect for her. Why? She's blind, and yet she can earthbend better than any other earthbender who can see. Even though she has no idea what anyone, anything, or even what she looks like, she still has a lot of self-confidence and determination. She's one of my favorite characters.

It's for the same reason that people think that Steele and Jenna should be together. Some people just support couples that have a villian and a protagonist. Although, I agree with you, I support Aang/Katara. I think it's impossible for Katara to want to be with Zuko anyway...I mean, Zuko went on a date (I forget the girl's name, but whatever it was, she should definately be with Zuko) and Katara could probably just never trust a firebender.

I love it, but I hardly watch it anymore. It's pretty funny, but I never saw the new episodes/movies at all.

Ah, Avatar . . . such a great show!
I really like it! *bought the Book I DVD box set and watched it all* It's some good stuff that really satisfies everyone - comedy, drama, action and adventure, martial arts (AKA - bending, anyone?), romance, and more! I agree with previous posts saying that such a show like this really doesn't belong on a "toony" network like Nick, but it's a good thing, I suppose. Besides, it's got a huge fanbase, the show is probably one of the network's highest-rated shows, and if it's good enough for DVD, then it's good for everyone! (since I don't get cable/satellite/whatever.)
I think you can tell who my favorite character is . . . *points at avatar* and I agree with what Kari said. She is a strong character, even though people see her as someone who is weak (due to her size, age, blindness, etc.). I think she's a great addition to the group, and perhaps she'll show a lot of importance to the plot (other than being Aang's Earthbending teacher, I mean)!

What's really stupid about that, Aang herd clearly what he said but, still went looking for Toph! Even when he'd known that she would die.  Right, but I don't think that that means she will die. Remember, he also said that the swamp can show you people who you are going to meet, and he said that it was the case with Aang seeing Toph.

Wow, this topic has been dead for months. And I have a lot to say about recent episodes.
Anyone else like Appa's Lost Days? I didn't think that he would get involved in that much in a short period of time. Also, I would think that Iroh would have told Zuko what he saw rather than telling him to go back to sleep. Did he know that Aang wasn't with Appa or did he know that he was lost?
The Earth King was a great episode (teehee, Katara kissed Aang XD). The way that they portrayed everything was wonderful. I liked the whole idea of them keeping the war a secret from the king.
Also, I'd like to say that I'm doing a podcast with a few friends from another forum. Yes, it's an Avatar podcast. The first part of it is on it's way, we just have to get it recorded. It can be found here: http://www.avatarlp.podomatic.com/
