Huntress' dark shape watched the youngling closely, following his every move, studying him. Behind her, Kirrio followed her eyeline, wondering why she was regarding the chick with such interest, and not with the cruelty that she normally did. The youngster was a dark, mahogany brown, flecked with what seemed to be silver, but Kirrio knew it was just the moonlight. Huntress shuffled her body silently, waiting for the youngster to get a bit further. As he left the sight, she moved onto the path behind him.

Atun was barely aware that something nearby wasn't right, but he dismissed it in his hurry to find Aurora. He paused briefly to sniffa round and find Aurora's scent and was suddenly aware of a presence behind him. Hoping it was just his imagination he didn't turn round, but instead hurried onwards. His trot quickly turned to a run as his keen ears picked up the beat of pawsteps behind him.

Aurora sniffed loudly, feeling embarassed and exposed lying on the floor. She struggled to her feet and stared at Phoenix tiredly. I want to go home, I want things to be how they were before she thought, feeling a whole lot more miserable now that the rain had started.

((I know, but that's the way he's supposed to be lol))


Pheonix growled softly, the beast inside him taking more control every minute. He was like a vampire, in a way. Once he had his mind set on killing someone, he just couldn't stop himself. He started circling Aurora like a cat stalking its prey, a small voice in the back of his mind telling him to stop, but it was softer than a whisper. His feet made no sound when they touched the ground, except for when his talons made a low clicking sound when they touched a spot of hard earth or a rock. 'Stop!' The voice cried, but it was still merely a whisper. 'I'm going to enjoy this.' The strongest part of him said. He let out a small growl, deciding to scare her a bit before he killed her. He continued to circle her, growling.

(Hmm this could actually prove to be quite funny...
Phoenix: Grr *kills Aurora* hahahahaha I have killed yet again...I RULE!
Aurora: soz mate, not dead yet
Phoenix: 8O

Aurora didn't understand. Had she said something wrong, had spilling her heart out to Phoenix upset him somehow. She took a step away from the growling form, studying the eyes that had once held so much warmth but were now cold anger.

Huntress knocked Atun into the base of a tree like a cat bowling a mouse over with with one swipe of its lethal paw. She watched him rise, dazed but not hurt, and walked slowly towards his cowering figure. 'Well well, what's a little pisqueak doing out here all by himself' she snarled, pinning Atun to the tree with one claw. Behind her she could sense Kirrio's curiosity.

Atun tried to growl but it came out sounding strangled. 'What do you want? If you want to kill me just do it now' he choked bravely, but he was shaking inside.

'Kill you? Ha! Why would I want to kill my own son' Huntress sneered, lowering her head down to Atun, who was completely shellshocked. 'That's right...and like mother like son you are a little reject just like me' she whispered.

As Aurora backed away, Pheonix moved closer and closer slowly, still crouched like a predator stalking its prey. Of course, he didn't have any intention of eating Aurora after he killed her, so she really didn't count as prey. For a brief moment of time, the sane part of him seemed to take hold. "Run!" Was all he managed to choke out before the wild beast yet again tried to take control, but Pheonix tried to fight against it even though it was useless. He new deep down, that as soon as Aurora started running, he would run after her. The insane part of him had more control, and he had his mind set on killing Aurora.
Glaedr's worry was growing with every passing minute, Aurora has been gone for longer than he would've liked. Glaedr stood up, causing Ember to awake again. "Stay here Ember." He said softly before running out of the cave and towards the forest.
