Shay pressed herself against Mason's considerable bulk, closing her eyes briefly. She forced herself to look at Argus...and found he looked normal. Peering closer, she saw something...but decided to ignore it. (they wouldn't know about the Mist, yet)

"Well, get in." Chiron said to them. Argus got out of the van and opened up the back and pulled out a ramp for Chiron to wheel into the van.

"Ok." He said and opened the door and hopped in. "I don't think it's big enough for Mason." Benny remarked.

"I'm not leaving Mason behind," Shay added softly. "And Benny's right. He's too big." She had grown attatched to the hellhound, and wrapped an arm around his neck.

"But, Mason can just run after us, right Chiron?" Benny asked.

Chiron shrugged "Yes, I guess he could."

Shay looked at Mason hesitantly. She had bonded with the monster more closely than she had realized, and was reluctant to part company with him for even a short amount of time. Finally, she pulled away from the hellhound. "OK," she agreed slowly

"We don't have all day." Benny said clearly irritated.

Mason whimpered a little.

"Cheer up big guy." Benny said "We'll see you at camp, make sure you follow us." He said to the hellhound.

Mason seemed to nod.

"I'll give you another treat once we're there," Shay promised, scratching him behind his ear quickly. She let her hand drop, and climbed into the car, grabbing Benny's hand and pulling him in with her.

"Ok, then lets gooo!" He said when Shay hauled him in the van.

Mason barked.

Shay reached for the seat belt, and buckled herself in. A sharp click rang through the air as the buckle slid into place, and she leaned back against the cushions.

Benny did the same,"I wonder how long it will take to get there." Benny said.

"I hope it doesn't take long," Shay said. All she could think of now was that ride to the amusement park, where she got really carsick off of too much rootbeer and funnel cakes.

OOC: Should we skip to the part where they're at Camp?

Beeny looked out the window, and saw a sign that said 'Camp Half Blood'. "I'm guessing we're here." He said.

"Thank goodness," Shay said fervently, her face tinged green. Car rides never had agreed with her. The car pulled to a stop, and she stumbled out, drinking in the fresh air gratefully.
