[I'll miss yew buddy!lol, why are you leavin?]

Claw still scowled at Scythe as he walked up the stairs, "And you don't think we lost our families?! You didn't have to take it out on Dewey. How do you know he didn't have the excact same thing happen to him?" then he turned to Dewey, "Sorry, kit. I'm just mad at Scythe, not you."

Dewey pricked up one of his ears and looked up at Claw and Nika, then glanced back down at his paws. "Aw, I'm not mad at you guys." he purred. His whiskers twitched when he sniffed and added quietly, "Doesn't Scythe know we've all been through the same thing as him? I loved my mama and daddy too, but I try to live as happily as I can without them, and since Scythe bigger than me, he should be used to it. Or... at least that's what I thought."

"It's ok Dewey. He should be able to. We'll just leave him alone for a while." Claw said, quietly, and he looked at all of the cats, just to glance around.

Nika rubbed her head on Dewey's "I know, but even big cats like Scythe and I can't run from our past." She nuzzled him "Don't take it to heart." She took a small peice of meat from the pile for herself and began to knaw on it, the juicy meat filled her mouth and made her smile.

"Can I take some meat?" Claw asked, in a follower's type of voice. "I mean, I don't wanna eat it all..." he said, walking over to the pile, his mouth almost watering. "It looks so good..." he commented.

Dewey's little infant stomach growled, and he looked at Nika sheepishly.

Cade was feasting on her pigeon when she heard Dewey's stomach grumble. She looked down at her pigeon, then mentally kicked herself for being too soft around kittens. The pure white cat tore off a piece off the back of the bird's neck and kicked it over to Dewey, trying not to smile at him.

Dewey mewed in happiness and gorged himself on the small tidbit he got from Cade.

Cade stifled a chuckle and whispered to herself, "The little snap would make a great beggar."

Nika smiled weakly "You don't need to ask, eat away." Her tail was tucked under her chin as she finsihed her meal ad stood up, long legs stretching.

Nika's eyes brightened instantly as Scythe trotted down the stairs and towards the food pile, she wanted to say 'Hi!' but she didn't for some reason.

Claw took a piece of meat from the pile, and ate from it hungrilly. "Mmm... mouse." he commented, noting the awesomeness of it. He sat down after he had finished it, and took the bones to his room, but then came back to the others.

Bic:// Dewey pricked up his ears and smiled at Scythe with those bright kitten eyes. "It's ok, Scythe!" he purred. He paused for a second, then added, "...and don't worry, you only have to say it once." Dewey was referring to when Scythe said, 'Listen good 'cause I'm only gonna say this once'.

Cade overheard Scythe and Dewey talking behind her and she smiled. I swear, she thought, That kitten's got ways.

Nika laughed cheerfully, her eyes turned bright as the group of cats formed together to have their evening meal [Like lunch]."I like it here.." She smiled.
