Amaya felt the jolts in her bones as he r paws padded against the hard pavement. She ran behind Nika, Roki close beside her, struggling to keep up with his shorter legs.

Nika easily stayed at the head of the pack, with her mother's blood she was very fast.She felt her heart tighten and break a little as she passed the last marking she had laid to mark her pack's territory, but now their home was open for taking, open for anyone and anything.

Talon used his long legs, and strides to stay at Nika's shoulder while she ran, the scent of their territory faded and the fur on his shoulders stood up, he didnt want to leave but he knew they had too.

Nisha skidded to a stop at the last border marker. She turned to look back. "Tomoyo..." she sighed and then bolted after the rest of the pack, bringing up the back to make sure everyone was safe.

Nika felt the tears well up in her eyes but she swollowed them down and pushed on.

(The next day, after they have already slept but for a very short time (3 hours) and they are only a few miles away from the forest.)

Talon stood next to Nika, watching her sleep as well as the rest of the pack, he had only slept for about an hour or so before standing guard at Nika's side.

Nisha yawned and slowly got to her feet. She shook out her fur and blinked a couple of times. "So it wasnt a dream...." she muttered to herself. She looked out at the forest and sighed, she had been there a lot. As a loner before Tomoyo has accepted her into her pack. She threw back her head and let out a long deep howl, a secret call of her sorrows but also waking her packmates. They had a long day ahead of them.

Nika stretched her legs and stood up, she noticed Talon was watching her sleep and she smiled."C'mon body gaurd." She nuzzled his chest before walking around and waking up her packmates with swift barks.

Amaya woke immediatly to the howl, and Roki's paws battering her side. She sat up and yawned, guessing the others were awake. Her paws still sore, she got up and padded out of the den.

Rokii folowed her.

Nika looked at Choker "Everything is fine, we just need to get moving." She explained as the pack knawed on some trash and a few had some rabbits.She watched a rabbit scamper off past her and she extended and paw and swapped it into a wall, a flashback blurred her vision.She punced on a rabbit, happily showing Rowan and the other adults of her catch.That was the day Talon came.She came back into the real world as she felt the rabbit squirm oe last time under her paw.She bit into it's neck and licked up the blood before tearing into his body.

Talon looked at Nika, and his ears swiviled backwards as he picked up the sound of small footsteps, he sprung forward and sank his fangs into a small brown rabbit. He looked up, his muzzle stained with blood as he looked at Nika again and then went back to eating his morning meal.

Nika howled, calling all pack members to join her in a circle before leaving their campsite."Okay everyone, this time we aren't stopping until we get there okay?We have all heard of the kind of humans who live by there so," She looked at Talon, Choker, Poison, Skull, Nisha, and Okami "Be carefull." Nika walked through the crowd and broke into the run, her pack following her.

Talon used his full stride length to catch up with Nika, running by her side.

Nisha ran at the back of the pack, gently nudgeing a slower pack member as they started to trail behind. She made sure everyone was keeping up and ran with them.

Nika ran quickley on, they had left the city and gotten to the farms."Are those wolves?" A man called out, racing outside out of his home, a old farm house, with a gun."Get 'em Frank!" A women called through cupped hands, her messy bun getting even more messier from her jumping up and down in excitment."Run!" Nika called louder, heart racing as shethe wind from a felt bullet go past her head and miss her by a inch.She heard a loud yelp and turned to look, a male dog was on the ground, covered in blood and yelping."Skull!" She turned around and ran over to his side, knowing what she was risking.She didn't need to stop, she just slid him over her body and onto her back and kept running.As she tried to make her way back to the lead she watched other members fall to sudden death, shots in the head were fatal, no doubt.Soon she too felt the shap stinging of the bullet penetrating through her skin an dmuscles, blood rushing around the small bullet and the heart racing sensation at the thought of death."Sh**!" She felt Skull's body be thrown onto the ground, and hers following from such a impact.Scrambling uneasily back up, she grabbed skull and pushed onward, side covered in her and Skull's blood.
