Zac signaled they could leave, and in a flash, he was out of the cave, slipping past Emery and Ryan towards the rest of the pack.

Ryan sighed. "If you must know...." he paused. "To be honest, I couldn't stand those mutts. You were treating them almost better than us. And I know why, too. You were curious. But for some reason, I still feel this way."

Ryan sighed. "It's not just that. I'm not so sure I like the mutts either."

Zac led the way. A while after leaving, Zac returned to his normal self. He was no longer 'google - eyed'. His thoughts returned to normal. By the time they got back to the pack, it seemed everything else was normal as well.

When Rachel arrived back at the pack's territory, she broke off from Zac and Violet. It's not like she didn't like their company, but she sometimes felt like she didn't belong with anyone. She felt like she was a nobody, someone that people were only with if they were forced to be.

Ryan sighed. Emery was beginning to get to him. He decided to finally accept it. Thisides, Emery's kind personality was gonna make him change his mind sooner or later.

Zac turned back into his human form and looked at Violet, smiling. "Nah, not much except for sitting around."

Ryan finally managed to smile.

Zac nodded. "Sure. What do you want to do?" he asked.

Ryan nodded. "Yeah, we should," he said.

Zac thought for a moment. "I don't know... I guess we'll figure it out later on," he said, then laughed.

Ryan followed Emery and allowed her to drag him back to the cave.

Zac laughed along with Violet.

Ryan laughed. "Well, c'mon then!"

Zac stopped laughing for a moment. "So... what?"
