Troy zoomed off after his son and thought about Cody. 'Maybe today is the day when he gains his extra powers like I did.' Once he reached his pups, Troy walked over Keano and said "I am here, son. Tell me where it hurts at."

Troy sighed and said "It's still in there and that might be the issue. Your mother is so much better at this part of taking care of you guys than I am. I wish she was here right now." HE started to pull out the shard gently and caringly.

"How'd that get in him?" Ryder asked, as he wasn't present at the time when it hit him.

Troy sighed and said "I am sorry, Keano, but I have to pull it out of you."
Cody sighed and said "We were playing soccer and I hit the rock so hard that it burst into a million pieces."
Troy jerked the shard out of Keano and said after realizing what he had done "I am sorry, Keano. You okay?" Troy though 'So, I was right. He does have mastery over all elements just like his father does.'
Cody smiled and said "Yes, dad. I do."
Troy smiled and said "You make me proud son. I trust you to use your powers usefully."
Cody said "I will, dad."

Troy smiled at Keano and said fatherly "Of course, you do, Keano. You make me very proud. All of you do. Could you go after Bloodbath, Keano and Cody? I need to talk to mom for a little while."
Cody smiled and said "Of course, we can. Come on, Keano." He started to walk after Bloodbath.

Keano wagged his tail. He got up stiffly and nuzzled both parents before going to Cody.

MAry watched them go then turned to Troy. "Alright, what is it you'd like to talk about" she asked him.
