I think steet was aiming for unpopular movies, Naruto has a huge fanbase. And the anime thing like Mighty said.

Hm. The topic to pick people to help out doesn't seem to work anymore. Did someone delete the topic? Anywho, I don't think I have any to suggest, simply because the ones I would suggest are already in progress. But if any of the sources like Bambi, Brother Bear, or Fox in the Hound need help working on (both info or graphic wise), I'd love to help out.

I don't know if anyone's suggested this yet or not. * Name: Meet The Robinsons * Film or Series: Film * General Information: An animated (mostly CG, in much the same style as Toy Story) film about a young inventor who dreams of finding the mother who orphaned him when he was a baby. When his latest invention malfunctions he loses hope, but another boy whisks him away to the future and shows him all that can be achieved if he just sets his mind to it. * Owner/Producing company: Disney * (If Possible) Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meet_The_Robinsons * Why should we add it? Not only is it swiftly becoming a Disney classic in its own right, but it boasts a wonderful moral and an inspirational tale that encourages creativity. It's a film that I personally think if Disney himself had seen it, he would have very highly approved of, especially since the films main motto, "Keep moving forward' came directly from a quote taken from the great man himself.

Question wrote: I think steet was aiming for unpopular movies, Naruto has a huge fanbase. And the anime thing like Mighty said. "Unpopular", huh? Sorry if this seems a little off-topic (though I don't think it is), but let's start with two very well-known sites, and then show you some other lists of relevance (this, by nature of its design as a TV series, cannot include TaleSpin, which never appeared in movie theaters - the same applying to the All Dogs Go To Heaven spin-off TV series...nor the Balto sequels, nor The Lion King sequels, nor Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, nor The Secret of N.I.M.H. 2: Timmy To The Rescue**, which were all direct-to-video releases): (see asterisk notes at the bottom of this post...)- On Internet Movie Database's "Best/Worst 'Animation' Titles", on the top 50 list, The Lion King* appears at #8: http://www.imdb.com/chart/animation
- On Rotten Tomatoes' "Best (50) Animated Films", The Lion King* appears at #26, Lady and the Tramp at #38: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/guides/best_animated_films/
- In this list of "top ten most popular animated movies", The Lion King* is #1: http://techblogbiz.blogspot.com/2006/09/top-ten-animated-movies.html
- In this list of "top 100 animated movies of all time", The Lion King* made #5, The Secret of N.I.M.H.** made #56, Lady and the Tramp made #58, All Dogs Go To Heaven made #87, and Robin Hood** made #99. On that same page, a sub-list for "the best ten movies of '09" listed The Princess and the Frog as #3: http://digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/movie-pages/movie_animation.html
- In this list of "top 25 animated movies of all time", once again, The Lion King* appears (as #17), and Toy Story 3** as #13: http://movies.ign.com/articles/650/650717p1.html
- In this list of "best 25 animated movies of all time", Lady and the Tramp is #22 and, once AGAIN, The Lion King* appears...this time at #2: http://blog.moviefone.com/2008/06/02/best-animated-movies/
- On The Movie Blog's "10 Best Animated Films of All Time"...yep, you guessed it, The Lion King* appears...THIS time (and again) at #1: http://www.themovieblog.com/2008/10/the-movie-blogs-10-best-animated-films-of-all-time
Seems to me that at least The Lion King rates pretty high...and fairly consistently; Lady and the Tramp at least moderately so. Now, this doesn't say much, unfortunately, for Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Brother Bear** (or its direct-to-video sequel), or Cats Don't Dance**, which didn't make any of the lists I found. Nor for The Princess and the Frog, which didn't make any "all time" list that I saw. But again, these are based upon monetary determinations, not abiding popularity among fans. It is telling that, of ALL the movies and television series added to (or pending to be added to) the Animation Source list, only Balto and The Secret of N.I.M.H.** have demonstrated a healthy and long-lasting internet-centralized fan base, with more fan sites in their honor than all the rest combined (feel free to check it if you feel up to that)...even if some of them have fallen into total or near-total inactivity. And all this in spite of the Balto movies' alleged "unpopularity". Maybe steet did say that about the movies included on AS...or perhaps he intended it. But with respect to him, these lists and the other evidence I have provided demonstrate that most of the movies (at least the originals) are hardly "unpopular". *According to this list: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/genres/chart/?id=animation.htm, The Lion King is the fourth highest-grossing animated film of all time in terms of monetary profits, at $328.5 million at the time the list was made (at least in late 2009). Comparatively, Balto still managed to pull in $11,268,750.00 in box office receipts (according to Internet Movie Database), which isn't bad considering how poorly Universal Studios marketed the movie. Which may also explain (in terms of bad marketing) why the movie didn't make any of the above lists (or others). Most of these lists are determined by U.S. and international box office receipts and DVD/VHS retail sales.

Film; The Nightmare before Christmas Made in; 1993 General info; Jack Skellington is tired of the some old Halloween he does for Halloween town. He discovers the "Holiday Doors" and enters Christmas town. Soon, he wishes to make his own Christmas! Type of animation; Stop motion/clay figures Sequals; None movie wise actually, but the two games; The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Pumpkin King is the prequal "game", telling events that happend before the time of the movie took place, and the sequal, The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge (Playstation 2) tells about Halloween town after the movie took place. Reason to add it; It's a good classic, and being as I noticed a CGI source is in the making, why not a stop motion? I've actually haven't seen so many AMV's, sites, for this movie, and its a shame. Producer; Tim Burton Link? = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Nightm ... _ChristmasFun fact; Did you know, the guy that played Jack in the movie, didn't actually sing his songs? And when the same guy played Jack in the Play Station 2 game, (same guy) he actually sang his songs in the game.

Eh I know there's a very low chance for this one, but it ain't an anime so I think I'll just shoot the idea out there. And if someone decides to make it into a source, I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna help make the site! This series is like.... like... my RELIGION! XD LOL, just kidding, but seriously, I LOVE it. Name: Danny Phantom Source Film or Series: Series General Information: Danny Fenton/Phantom is a regular fourteen year old kid whose parents happen to be ghost hunters. While making a ghost portal, it doesn't work at first, so Danny decides to check it out. Upon turning the ghost portal on, ghost DNA mixes with Danny's human DNA, making him half human, half ghost. Now, it's his goal to live a normal human life, while juggling a crime fighting ghost life. But his parents, Vlad Masters/Plasmius (Dad's old college pal, now turned Danny's arch enemy), Valerie Gray (girl at school who turned into a ghost hunter), all the other evil ghosts, and any ghost hunter off the street is out for him. But with the help of his friends, Sam and Tucker, and his sister Jazz, he can do almost anything. Owner/Producing company: Nickelodeon (created by Butch Hartman) Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_phantomWhy should we add it?: Danny Phantom is a very original, classic animated series that a lot of people enjoy, and still do, but as it is diminishing more and more from regular T.V, it's becoming less and less known (although I have every single episode recorded back when they used to play them all the time XD). It's not very popular compared to some of Nick's other shows such as Invader Zim and Avatar: the Last Airbender, so I think it needs to spread more so everyone can learn to like it. And Jersey: No problem ;]

Yeah, it is unfortunate, but at least they ended it ^^ most series that are cancelled, they stop making the shows, but at least they created a movie to end the series. Sucks that it ended though. I absolutlety adore this series. And yeah they have almost no good fansites. I've searched but there aint any good ones out there unfortunately. I mean, they're okay but they aint spectacular. I want one of them to be a source SOOO bad. and if not, I may try and make one myself! I'll absolutely BEG my parents to let me buy a site interface and make it myself! In fact.... I may try and ask tonight. Aniu, would you want to help me out making it? ^^ (well if my rents say yes of course xD
