Dev smiled "of course Shay...taht is...if its allright with your father!" he reminded her as he took his arm off her shoudlers and shut off the lights and the ignition, leaving them in total darkness.

Dev pretended to fix his hair but chuckled. "Guys don't do that...it doesn't look that bad does it?" Dev asked, loving to see her blush. He watched as she redid her makeup and hair and couldn't help himself. He leaned over and kissed her quickly on the lips, whiping the lip gloss of his own lips. "Didn't mess anything up did I?" he asked and grinned mischeviously.

Dev grinned "Okay I'll follow you!" he said suddenly feeling nervous, as if he was the boyfriend going to meet the dad for the first time. "You're dad doesn't have a shot gun right?" Dev asked somewhate nervously.

"Okaay..." Dev agreed and let her tow him into the house. "Daddy?" Dev snorted and bit his lip to hold back laughter "thats cute.." he muttered and chuckled, but froze again when he herad her fathers voice. "Lets do this thing..." he said in fake confidence and followed Shay into the living room. He actually was half excited to see Mr. Raven. He hadn't seen him in years! and he was guessing he would be Dev's new father figure.

Dev put on his 'tough guy face' just as his father looked at Shay. He was barley able to hold in a smile, seeing Richards thought of confusion, thinking he was Nate. He almost said 'no i'm not goth' outload but realized that would be a huge mistake. He dicided quickly to stop reading Richards mind and introduce himself. "Thats right sir..." Dev said polietly "I'm Deveron Black..." he repeated Shay and held out his hand to Richard, hoping that he would remember. He smiled at Shay's nervous thoughts and suddenly got butterflies in his stomach as well, the tension rose when Dev reached out his hand.

Dev sighed with relief "yes sir..." Dev replied to Richard "and i'm sorry about getting your daughter in trouble, but half the time it was her fault!" Dev said and grinned at Shay mischeviously. Dev's eyes widened slightly when Richard ruffled his hair, a thing that his own dad used to do. "Yeah, me and Shay just wanna talk for a bit..." Dev agreed and gently patted Shay's back when he read her thoughts about Nathanial. "Thanks Rich!" Dev said, grinning, suddenly brining back the old nickname he used to call Richard when he was younger.

"Yeah!" Dev breathed as he looked up the stairs. "Like that one time we got the sled and rode down these stairs and I broke my wrist!" Dev said and chuckled. "You laughed the whole time!" he added and grinned at her. "We really were close as kids huh?" Dev asked, narrowing his eyes slightly.
