Cody responded by saying "Miss K, we will get your baby back for you. You can count on it. I promise to come back with your baby." Cody then said to Martha "Let's go, this is our first mission. Come on." Then Cody lead Martha into the forest.
Houndour was smiling as he heard her plan and said into her ear "This is going to be good and very funny."
Mightyena shacked his head in agreement with Glameow.

"I'm coming with you." said Kangaskhan. "I already have Peliaper making runs for me." she said. "So I can search for my baby." she said, following them.
"Of course we'll help, we'd never abandon someone in need." said Martha, smiling. "Espically someone as nice as you." she said.
Stunky nodded. "I'll get the rest of the stuff."
Glameow nodded. "Right." she said, though she wasn't a second stage pokemon, she was the strongest of the team, she just had an Everstone to prevent her from evolving into Purugly.

Cody said "Alright, come along if you must but stay close so we don't leave each other." Then Cody lead them through the forest for some time. Cody stops because he thought he heard a whine. He didn't know he was correct though that he heard a whine.
Houndour said "Alright you get the rest of it. But please be ready by the end of the week."
OOC:let's have the bugs come out now and then they find the baby soon afterwords.

OOC: I have something for the baby, Bug types are fine.
An Ariados (Spinrak's evolution, bad speller) dropped down behind Cody but was promptly Fire Punched by Kangaskhan.
"We've got a problem." said Kangaskhan. "Bug types live in hives." she said as various Bug Types dropped down from the canapy. "You ready for a fight?"
Martha nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be."
Stunky nodded and headed off to find her ingrediants.

Cody said protectively "I am ready to fight. Stay behind me I am the fire type not you guys. I will protect you two." Cody then got his fire growing stronger. Then he used ember on the nearest bug and scorched it. It ran away after it got scorched by Cody's ember.

"You may be a Fire Type dear but I can use Fire Type moves." said Kangaskhan. She used Flamethrower on a Spinrak, knocking it out easily.
Martha used Vine Whip on several Burmy, knocking them out rather easily.

Two Ariados cornored Martha and Cody used his most powerful ember and said to Martha after the two Ariados got knocked out "You okay?"

Martha nodded. "Thanks." she said, her leaf giving off a calming scent which caused some of the bugs to relex and leave, though quite a few kept coming. "Lets keep going." she said and used Vine Whip to grab a Venomoth and slam it into the ground.
OOC: I figured that Bug types wouldn't be affected by a good smell that much, considering in real life, insects are attracted mainly to bad smells most of the time.
Kangaskhan used Fire Punch on another Parasect. "We're almost there." she said. "Get behind me." she said, Martha did as she was told. Kangaskhan began to charge Hyper Beam.

As the Kangaskhan was charging her hyper beam Cody docked real quickly behind her also. He didn't want to be accidently hit by that over powerful move. Cody then said "Go for it. You can do it, Miss K. Don't hold back either."

Knagaskhan used Hyper Beam and knocked out most of the remaining Bugs.
Martha saw the remaining Pokemon, a Mothum and Dustox fly at Kangaskhan, who couldn't move because she was recharging. She jumpped forwards and used Tackle on the Mothum. "Get the Dustox, Cody!"

Right at the nick of time, Cody used tackle on the Dustox. Then Cody used an ember to scare it away and it worked. Then Cody said "Are you done recharging, Miss K?"

Kangaskhan nodded. "Yes, I'm done." she said. "That worked well." she said. "Lets move on."
Martha nodded and lead on ahead. Soon the path lead into a cave and Martha prepared to go in but a Gloom stepped out. "Huh?" she asked before the Gloom sprayed a horrid pollen from the top of its head. Martha covered her nose with her vines, eyes watering. "Ugh! That's even worse than Stunky!" she exclaimed, having to take a few steps back to avoid passing out from the smell. She noticed why Cody hadn't covered his nose before, Cyndaquil had small arms and long noses, making it next to impossible. She sent out two more vines and covered his nose for him. "This is as close as I can get...any closer and I just know I'll pass out."
Kangaskhan clutched her nose tight, eyes also watering. "Me nether but my baby is in that cave, I know it." she said. "But that Gloom isn't going to let us through." she said. "Cody, don't use your fire, Pollen is flamable and we're surrounded by it. You wouldn't get hurt but Martha and I wouldn't be so lucky." she said. "I can't inhale deep enough to use any of my distence attacks."
Stunky watched this. The Gloom was a friend of hers, she'd just got some of the pollin from it and told it to harass the group.

Cody said seriously "I know." After a long pause Cody continued by saying "Okay, you two move out of the Pollen go somewhere nearby. I am going to tackle it so both me and the Gloom will be in there alone and I will use a fire attack." Cody then used tackle and hoped that the other two were listening to him.

Martha and Kangaskhan did as they were told and got out of the awful smelling pollin. Martha hopped Kodi's be alright.
The Gloom pointed the hole in the top of its head in Cody's face and blasted Cody right in the face with the pollin point blank.

OOC: It's Cody, not Kodi.
Cody got hit pretty hard with the blast but Cody recovered quickly and used a powerful ember. It wasn't powerful enough to knock out the Gloom though, but it scorched the Gloom. The Gloom and Cody are hurt pretty badly now.
