"Ok, Lia, can you get the tomatos out of the house?" said Luke, covering his nose against the stench.

"That's probably awful, all that musk right in his mouth!" said Sally.

Kira finished as well and covered her nose. "More skunk spray." she said. "How many skunks live around here?"

"I don't know" answered Dana "Two or three" she said.

Lia dragged out a large sack of tomatos "Watch ot below" she giggled.

Amy nodded holding her breath.

Tracy helpped with the bag. "Alright Cassie, lead the way to the washing room at the zoo." she said.

Luke waited for Lia in case she fell.

"Too many." said Kira, gagging on the stench. "I sure know I wouldn't want to be sprayed."

"I gathered" muttered Dana.

Lia jumped out of the window and landed on Lukes back "Yee haa" she laughed.

Amy smiled and followed them.

Cassie cantered.

Luke chuckled but covered his nose. "Lets go make you smell better." he said, getting up and following his mother.

Kira sighed. "But at least we're free." she said. "That's the good thing."

Dana nodded and smiled "Even though your still in america" she grinned.

Cassie had reached th zoo by the time amy got through the front gates "We're not all horses you know" she said.

Tracy had carried Sally. "Yeah, we're fast but you're much faster."

Luke smiled. "I've never been to a zoo before."

Kira nodded. "True but there are no humans for miles!"

Dana smiled and stretched.

Lia grinned "Neither have I" she smiled.

AMy grinned when she saw the washing station "Ok,Whos first? Lia or Cassie?"

"Well Lia's a dog and too my knowladge, dogs have a more sensitive nose than Zebras." said Tracy. "So Lia should be washed off first."

Kira nodded. "Shall we do something else? Like take a look around the city?"

Cassie pushed Lia froward with her nose.

LIa jumped into the tub of tomatoe juice.

Tracy set down. "Its too quiet...without the humans." she said, looking around. "Where did they go?" she asked. "I know they were evacuated." she said. "I guess the humans in charge thought animals were more likely to survive than humans so evacuated the humans first."

Luke peeked over the side at Lia. "How is it?"

"Wet!" barked Lia.

Amy nodded "Thats usually what happens with earthquakes" she said "It's quite hard to locate anything under that rubble, and humans make less noise than dogs" she said.

"We're less fragile too." said Tracy. "Think we could find out where they are somehow?" she asked.

"Well at least the smell is going away." said Luke, smiling.

"We'll you need any help dear?" asked Sally to Cassie, feeling responsable and guilty for the predicament Cassie was in due to spraying her.
