"Good night, mom" Riddick said to Zira, with a small smile, then fell asleep.
Scar looked at his sleeping son for a while, then walked over to Zira.
"That's good. From tomorrow on, his training will be even harder" he said with an evil smile, and licked Zira's cheack.

"Yeah...He does kinda have a roaring problem...But, we shall fix that..." She sighed, then looked at her son. She flickered her tail, then went to her bed of soil and dirt, then went to sleep.

The next morning Scar walked over to sleeping Riddick, and looked at him.
"Wake up, son. It's time to continue your training" he said to Riddick, and pushed him with his paw.
Riddick opened his eyes, and looked at his father.
"Huh...? N-now? Come on..five more minutes" Riddick mumbled with a sleepy voice, and yawned.

Zira dreamed of Simba's death. A long and bloody battle. She loved this dream, and wanted to fulfill it. Shw then woke with Scar's voice to the side of the den. "Get up son." She yawned when she heard him want to sleep more. She woke up, went to Riddick's bed, and picked him up. She placed his firm body on the ground and said, "Now mind your father...He's done alot for us." She said, then went to the muddy river that lined their land, and drank.

"Mom, aren't you coming with us?" he asked with.

"No...I have to fetch some food so you won't be hungry." She said sternly, then walked infront of them, and swatted Scar's face with her long, skinny tail. She walked to the Crocadile filled river, and saw a small fish swimming slowly enough to where she could paw it out. She slapped the water, and pulled her paw up. On it, was the small fish that was about a foot long, and at least weighed ten pounds.

"Oh, okay...well, see you later" Riddick said to his mom, and then went after his father.
"Dad...What are we doing here?" Riddick asked Scar, as they reached a deep gorge.
Scar looked down in the bottom of the gorge, where a herd of wildebeests was resting.
"See those wildebeests?" he asked Riddick, and pointed at the herd with his head. He then looked at Riddick, who nodded, then turned his head back to the herd.
"Now, I want you sneak in to the gorge. It is time for you to catch your first kill" he said, turning his head back to Riddick.

Simba walked around the waterhole which Nala and him had "Ditched the dodo". He remembered these childhood memories, and smiled at them. He looked at his cream colored paws on the dry, cracked, but grassy ground. He let one of his shimmering black claws appear from his paw, and gently pawed the ground. 'It seems quieter than usual today..." Simba thought to himself.

Riddick looked at his father with a confused look on his face.
"So...you want to...get in there and kill a wildebeest?" he asked, to make sure he understood correctly.
"That is right, son" Scar replied with an evil smile, and looked at his son.
Riddick looked at Scar, then looked down at the herd again.
"Well...what ever you say, dad" he gulped, then he climbed down on the gorge, and sneaked closer to the wildebeests. He was trying to be as quiet and small as possible, but suddenly he stepped on a stick, and the cracking sound made all the wildebeests lift their head, and then they noticed a lion in the bushes.
"Riddick, get out of there!" Scar yelled from the top, but then the wildebeests started running in panic, towards Riddick. Scar rushed to the bottom, grabbed Riddick from his neck and dashed off as fast as his feet could carry him. He managed to get away from the panicking herd, which was heading towards the Pride Lands.

Simba looked back at the waterhole, then at the savannah to the right. It was filled with prides of wildebeest, okapi, and zebras. He bent his long neck to the water, and took a drink. His mane dangled in the crisp water, and managed to get a bit wet. Simba quit drinking, and craned his neck in the air. He could hear a faint stomping noise, and the smell of wildebeest. "What's going on?" He asked himself, then noticed a small brown cub being picked up by a rather larger, skinny lion. "Scar!?" He growled. He watched for a minute, but then lost the sight of him. "Hmm?" He hummed.

As they got to safe distance from the herd, Scar put Riddick down on the ground and turned away from him, looking quite serious.
Riddick carefully lifted his head to look at Scar, and sat down hoping he wasn't mad.
"...Dad..?" he whispered carefully, and pinned his ears down.
Scar slowly turned his head to Riddick, and looked at him seriously.
"Riddick...I'm quite dissapointed in you" he said, turning towards Riddick properly.
Riddick lowered his head in shame.
"I'm sorry, dad..it was an accident" he whispered sadly and pinned his head down.
"I..I guess I'm just not ready to be a lion yet" he then replied with a sad voice.
Scar seemed pretty confused at first, but then started smiling.
"Aww, don't feel bad, son" he said and put his paw around his son.
"One day, you WILL be a lion" he said smiling, and pecked his nose on Riddick's cheack, making him smile.

Simba forgot about the situation, an headed back for Pride Rock. 'Was that Scar?' He thought to himself. He entered the den which he slept in. He looked around the cave and noticed everyone but Kiara was asleep. "Kiara?" Simba said in a tone which meant he wasn't playing. He grabbed Kiara, and put her in her sleeping mother's paws, which were beside her head. "Now go to sleep." He told her. He went to the front of the cave, and sat there silently.

Scar was walking home with Riddick, and as they got to the Outlands, he saw Zira and Vitani sitting outside the den.
"Riddick, it's time for you to go to sleep. Off you go now" Scar said to Riddick. After Riddick had gone in the cave, Scar went to Zira and Vitani and stood beside them.
"Vitani, would you let me have moment with your mother, please?" he asked his daughter with a smile on his face, and fatherly tone in his voice.
"Of course, dad" Vitani replied with a smile, quickly nuzzled Scar and then went in the cave as well, leaving Scar alone with Zira.
