Jenna looked out and saw him. She came over, it was still cold so the window wasn't open and she couldn't smell the skunk spray. "Hellow Balto, how did the hunt go?"

Balto did a small chuhle. "Fine untill the ebar trieed to attack us." The wolfdog said, waiting for Jenna's reply.
"Yea! Than Luke saved us!" Muffin said, jumping on balto's head.

Jenna gasped. "Oh my gosh, I'll be right out!" she yelled, worried someone got hurt. She ran outside but imdiately stopped and sniffed the air. Her eyes watered and she covered her nose with her paws. "Peeyew! What is that smell?!" she asked, it was a long time sense she'd smelled a skunk.

"It's called skunk, mom." Smokey said, in sort of a smart allic town.
"Yea, and Luke sprayed it at us." Buddy added.
"Yeah! And than he saved us!" Muffin said, hopping on top of Buddy.
"Shut up Muffin." Smokey ordered.
"Ok."

"I didn't mean to get us skunked momma." said Luke. "But I needed it to stop the bear...I didn't want to lose papa." he said, whimpering at the thought of what happened to his real parents.
Jenna kept her paw on her nose but smiled. "Good job honey." she said. "But lets go get you guys back to your normal smell."
Copper bonked Smokey on the top of the head with her paw hard enough to cause a descent amount of pain. "Leave Muffin alone." she said. "She wasn't doing anything wrong."
Dika giggled at what Copper did.

Dika cuddled up to Balto, getting cold because of how tiny she was. "Luke's a hero, isn't he papa?"
Jenna nodded and started barking inside. Her owners came out and covered their noses, noticing the skunk smell. They sighed and lead the dogs and started getting a tomato juice bath ready.
"So whose first?" asked Copper.

Buddy grinned. He waked up to the small pool type thing that they had the tomato juice in. He put his front paws on it, ust to see what was insie of it. He didnt like batsh, and he wasnt going to start now.

Copper giggled and pushed her brother into the tomato juice face first.
Rosie's father chuckled and began washing the terrible odor out of Buddy's fur.
Luke curled up next to Balto and Jenna, along with Dika.
Jenna smiled at Balto. "Well Luke saved the day, didn't he?" she asked, smiling.

Buddy soon settled down, but was still a bit frightneed. Soon Rosy's ftaher took Buddy out of the tub, and ou him on the gtround, and dried him with a towel.

Copper bit Smokey's ear and dragged him over to the tub. She pushed him in so he could be washed, this was also to teach him a lession for being mean to Muffin.

Jenna smiled down at Dika. She was glad Dika hadn't been hurt, her and Balto always worried for Dika, she'd nearly died when she was born and was so tiny and fragile.
Copper giggled at Rosie's father began washing Smokey.
Luke wagged his tail, watching his siblings.
