Tadie - Good point, it can't! I suppose I'll post and hopefully that'll get the posts flowing... hopefully. I mean it was awarded!


Saba fidgeted around in her sledding harness, eager to get running again. She smelled a strange scent as she saw the wolf-dog team run past them. Something wasn't right about them, her nose and her gut instinct both told her. They were different, and it wasn't just because of their wolf heritage, I'm a wolf-dog myself, but their not like me at all. They seem so aggressive, but their musher has their complete control...

"Has anyone else gotten a bad 'vibe' from that team over there?" she wondered aloud, but no-one else seemed to pay much attention to her. They probably don't want to give themselves too much to think about... Saba thought to herself, but she was still uneasy.

Pitch stretched, then tilted his head to one side, hearing what Saba had said. He saw the other team, but he didn't really think much about them. To him, they were just another team to race against, another team of huskies, wolves, malamutes, or whatever happened to be racing. Without another thought about the wolf-dog team, Pitch whined, eager to get going.

Belle yawned and stretched again, then lay down on the ground, resting her head on her paws, waiting for the musher to put her harness on. Another day of running, many more to come. Belle glanced at the team Saba had referred to, saying she got a bad 'vibe' from them, then dismissed it promptly. The musher put the harness on Belle, and she smiled slightly, knowing they would start running soon.
