Shani trotted back to her den in the deep forest where not even the mightiest hunters who dare to tresspass, because Shani was there and you must howl to enter so she knows who you are and what you are.When Shani got to her den she dug out all of the remains of her past catches.Winter is coming around the corner!I should go stock up before the big famine starts. Shani thought as she awoke to the sun beating her eye with the light.




Shani pranced behind her den and dug a very, very deep hole.Her paws ached but she caught the scent of a large family of fat and sick elk!Shani looked over her shoulder and there they were, she jumped behind a rock quikly making no sound.Shani croutched behind a large rock and waited for them to all sleep.It was getting late now and she was tired, but still alert.When the fat elks fell asleep in the meadow she slowly slid behind the biggest of all and punctured it's vocal cords so it couldn't bleet to warn the others, it soon died of blood loss and she did the same to the rest.When they were all dead she dragged thier bodies back to the hole she had dug earlier and stuffed thier limp bloody bodies in the hole.She hunted for two weeks straight, no food, no sleep, and the only shelter she had was bushes and tree tops.When the two weeks were over she brought her kills back to the hole.She had to dig 3 very deep hole to fit all of them.She then covered them each with large and heavy rocks and limbs of brushes and trees so no one would steal it.She had a few rabbits and fell asleep in her cold and hard den.


The next day she ate another rabbit and went into town to search for Eagle.

Shani saw Eagle over by the meat store and perked her ears of while her tail swished from side to side with happiness but she was always nervous when it came to him and she didn't know why exactly."Hey Eagle."Shani said while she pawed the ground nervously hoping for a responsed.

"Hey Eage!Nice catch, not many dogs or wolves can do that!" Shani said. Shani's foot still hurt a little bit from yesterday's huntng so she took off some weight by stepping back a little bit, she stepped on a nail and jumped up with a whimper while falling back onto the meatman's cart."Ow!" Shani yelped as she stood up and shook herself off and jerked her head at the meatman that was getting ready to shoot her with his gun.Shani jumped up and grabbed his gun with her mighty canines and shook it.The man shot crazily, hoping that the crazy wolf would get scared and run away, but she didn't.The man dropped the gun and ran off.Shani fell to the ground with a loud "THUMP!"

Shani saw Balto running towards her "I'm ok, I'm ok!" Shani chuckled as she brushed herself off again.

Shani licked her paw in pain and laughed "I was kidding Balto!" Shani chuckled with a smile as she looked over to Eagle and thought "I guess he dosen't care about me.But no guy does!Why do I try?

Shani smiled when Eagle licked her paw, "I'm ok, but my paw hurts a little bit still. Thanks Eagle, for helping me back there!" Shani was blushing under her snow white fur and her ice blue eyes met his and she felt as if she was going to faint, she felt flutery inside as if butterflies were trapped inside of her rib cage.
