Denca didn't like all of this at all, not one bit. She snarled as she saw her aunt, for she had been listening to the fight and now her mind was trying to pay attention to her parents and her aunt at the same time. Denca rolled her shoulders and her pelt itched and squirmed. If her father and mother did not stay together she was going to go with her father! No matter what, no one would stop her. Denca cringed back from the light in the door way that stung her eyes and waited, waited, for what doom seemed to loom over her family.

Cobalt stuck her head back in," Denca," She said, "Would you like to go for a walk? Yeah, lets go for a nice walk," She nudged the doorway open, and walked out the front, Denca in her jaws, "We won't go far," She told the two feuding parents. She left the house and sat the pup on the sidewalk. "Better?" She asked.

Denca snarled and shifted and wiggled, "Put me down! Put me down!" The young little husky screamed and wailed. When the black and silver pelted pup was set on the sidewalk she hunched her head down, snarling still and folded her ears back. "Just because I'm small doesn't mean you can all just carry and push me around!" She snapped and narrowed her icy blue eyes on the snowy ground below her silver paws, she focused her eyes on her single black toe and did not let her snarl die away yet.

Denca's crystal ice blue eyes slowly slid up to gaze at her aunt. "What? You mean, you are going to help me to stay with daddy?" Denca asked and flickered her black ears. The small little pup stood up, when she wagged her black and silver tail her whole form seemed to make a wave sort of motion. Denca was still a bit uneasy with the idea...but she would not stay with her mother.

My face collapsed and I clamped down my eyes tightly to stop the tears. I whimpered once more then took a few heastant steps backward. Inside I felt myself caving in on it's self my heart ripping at the carfeul seems. Then I spun around running quickly my spin curving with each step forawrd. I leaped out the free spaced window and into the shadowed night. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to die to be ridded of this earth but I knew my pups needed me. But I couldn't go back yet. Not yet. The pain coursing through me was to fresh and too painfully strong.I ran shortley until I collapsed outside Nome's town square. i whimpered and crawled pitfully into a small gap in a towering pile of fire wood. As my rage intermixed with my pain I thought of Steele having to deal with being punished by the humans for the mess. I thought of him trying to handle all of our feitsy puppys. And In my twisted and broken state of mind these thoughts made my heartache a bit better.

Denca's eyes watched as her father left. She cocked her head to the side and huffed. If she wasn't so sure her dad would come back for her she would have been upset. However, just like she though Steele had came back. Denca rolled her eyes, "For a little while? I want to go with you forever dad." Denca smiled slightly, something she really didn't do much and shifted her weight. The small pup gazed up at her father with eyes of awe and pride, she wanted to be just like him, and she would be.
