Katie watched from the trees nearby. Monolith, i've heard of him, but I thought he was a myth she thought. He looked quite old, a lot older than the first one that they called 'crusher'. Katie crept cautiously closer, she was curious as to what every one was saying. 'But know this, we are linked, I need a human to be linked with so if you die, I die' she heard Monolith say, who was he linked to, and what dos he mean by plan?

Rose looked at him with wide eyes. "Great," she said breathlessly, not to mention sarcastically. "I'll try not to die then." She felt a new weight crash on her shoulders. Did this really mean that if she died, if Monolithe died, no peace could ever come to the world?

MAy laughed croakly. "No pressure, right, Rose?" She looked at Crusher, her eyes wide with shock. "That was, I mean, wow. How- wow." She shook her head, leting out the breath she had been holding in.
"So, how have you been avvouding the humans?" Jackson kept his hood over his face as he glanced over his hsoulder at her.

"Well, um, shoudln't we be leaving?" Rose said, wanting to get as far away from Crusher as she could. "You know, like, run away before he wakes up?"
Lily snorted. "No, I've been making friends with them now more than ever," she said sarcastically. Then, after a shot pause, "Of course I;ve been avoiding them. I don;t have a death wish like some poeple."

"Good idea." said Monolith, he picked Rose up and put her on his shoulder. He started off in the direction of Sleepy Hallow. "Do not blaim Crusher or his kin for what they do...it is the sins of the summoner that corrupts them." he said. "Golems are inhirtedly good." he said. "But what good is to them is dependent on their summoner." he said. "I am more powerful than any golem, with the possible exception of Crusher, he is equal to me, I took him off guard that time, any other battle would last a long time."
"Well I've never seen anything like that." said Jacob. "The wi-I mean Wickens fortold you were coming to restore the ballence." he said, trying not to offend the enormious Golem. "You're right, why do humans only come into conflict with creatures when they discover they were real when they'd spent thosands of years living along side them peacefully without knowing it? It doesn't really make any sense."

"They have proven themself creature capable of unspeakable destruction and death but also great kindness and compassion." he said. "They have much to learn as a species, and much growth to go threw." he said. "Us creatures are not so diffrent. Allow me to tell you of the very first vampire, you know the legend of Dracula, it was used to drill into your mind that vampires were evil but what they refuse to tell is that other vampires hated him so much, they helpped Van Helsing kill him. Dracula's was evil but it was merely because he was corrupted by his own power, not because he was a vampire." he said. "Nor will you find that Van Helsing was a werewolf." he said. "And it was only because of it he could kill Dracula."
OOC: Based most of that off the movie Van Helsing and added the vampires helping kill Dracula for effect.

"I've kept a low profile," Lily replied. "I haven't been picking fights with humans like my brother tried to." She kept her voice even at the terrible memory. "I think the best thing to do right know is give up and move on to some place else."

"Speaking of seeing things from one side of the fight, how would you know what the other sides view of things is?" he asked. "To them, you know what humans are? Humans are the evil monsters that prey on innocents." he said, this was just what humans thought about the creatures. "Ironic isn't it?"

"If I recall, the humans attacked them first." he said. "The humans were the ones that started dissecting them and such." he said. "The moment you found out they existed, you went to senselessly slaughtering them, before that, no one knew they existed but they knew you did and didn't strike out against you, so who is the real 'monster' here?" he asked. "The hated creatures or the ones that hate them for no good reason but superstition?"

Rose crossed her arms stubbornly. "Well, what else did you expect us to do? All of the horror movies of Hollywood just came to life. We were scared. Suddenly disappeareces and murders that were never solved made sense. So, maybe we overreacted, but it was just... payback for all the things you've been doing to us since who knows when."

"Did it ever occure to you that there are good and bad of us just as there are good and bad humans?" asked Monolith. "Dracula was a monster but a werewolf risked his life to stop him, there are real monsters and ones that look like it." he said. "Yes some of us have done things our species aren't proud of and those are the real monster and for your sake I hope you never meet one." he said. "And those horror movies were made by humans, not inspired mostly by real events, save for Dracula." he said. "Instead of looking at this from a human point of view, look at it through our eyes, through the eyes of the persacuted." he said. He held her so she was looking into his single eye. "Look into my eye and tell me, do you honestly believe what humans are doing is right? Or do deep down in your heart you know humans are doing an unspeakable wrong, genocide."
