Feak felt pleased and comforted. The farther they got, the better she felt. and soon, she could talk. But still- she was blind.
"Shinx?" She asked. "Uh... Where are we? I.. Um, can't really tell." She said, meaning she couldn't see a darn thing.

shinxs looked around, she hadn't realy been paying attention to her sroundings all that much. it looked like they were at the edge of the forest, ahead of them there was open land, only long grass growing. she flinched when she looked back and saw the smoke rising into the blue sky.
''were almost out of the forest, up ahead there is just open land, with lots of grass'' she told feak, leaving out the part with the smothering black smoke that rose out behind them.

Akira looked at Freak thoughtfully. "Are you feeling alright? Can you see where we are? It doesen't look like the lava or water is following us, so maybe we should all rest awhile."

"Actually, I -I can't see... At all." Feak mumbled in worry. "I don't know if it'll ever go away!" She cried, thinking of the moment, if it shall ever happen, when she first sees Rio- her loving mate. But, without sight at all... To never see his face again.

"And we must keep going-!" She shouted, shaking her head to knock the bad thoughts out. "We need to get to flat land." She added. The only problem of trying to sleep was- well, the ground was shaking rapidly. And, it might not stop for days! The only time they'll be able to sleep is when they finally just drop to the ground after restless days.

shinxs looked a feak with worry. ''mabey we should stop for awile, just to take a break. we can't keep going like this.''
she sat down, and started licking her raw paws. her muscles were sore and her head heart. she layed her head down on the ground, and fell into a deep, unstopable sleep.

Feak looked down at her paws, but saw nothing... She didn't know why this had happened, but, just maybe- things would be better after a nap. So, she let out a big yawn from a long day, and fell asleep. Rumble or no rumble, she was knocked out.

Rio turned the corner, and he smiled breifly as he noticed a big, soft thicket crafted from a mother deer. He crept inside, and dirfted off... Forgetting about Tuwa.

Hours later...

Feak's eyes fluttered open, and she let our a shriek... A shriek of fear.
For she flet a strong, fur-burning heat next to her. The fire had crept over, and way RIGHT next to the sleeping tigers! At least, Feak thinks their still there... But she couldn't see if so.

Had they left her, knowing the fire was close? Knowing that her blindness would only slow them down and get them killed? She didn't know... But, hoping to hear voices... She let out a big
"HEY!!!" and looked blankly around. "GUYS?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" She shouted as if she were retarded, since they were actually most likely still there... "THE FIRE!!!"

Feak had started to worry, for no answer was found. Maybe they just needed time to wake up? She hoped...

Hearing someone yelling, Akira looked up, eyes stinging from sleep. No...not sleep...smoke. Suddenly, looking around wildly, she saw flames blazing around her and the two tigers.no wonder I was in such a deep sleep she thought, for she had heard of how alot of smoke can make you very sleepy... "WAKE UP!" she screamed, her voice horase. she should have known that it was stupid to stop so soon. then, remembering the blind tiger, she put her tail over her back to guide her as the wolf and two tigers satarted running for their lives.

Feak ran to the soft yanking of her tail, hoping they would get out soon. They were on the edge of the woods, almost... and she heat seemed to feel for farther off. In this big rush and change in the Earth, she wondered and cried that they would be okay... And Rio.
She started to think about how lucky he must be, considering the fire only crossed to Feak 'side'. And he is probably all snug up, sleeping peacfully- not worrying about Ol' Feaky, burning her tail off. Seriously.
It was dark into the night, but the fire still lit it up. (Not that Feak can tell.)

shinxs woke up, the fire blazing around her.
''what is happening!'' she shouted sleepily, and looked around. akira and feak were already up and going, the fire blazed around all of them.
''wait!'' she shouted and ran after the other two.
