Wouldn't be a problem if y'all would stop making such Mary-Sue characters. If you want my opinion, I say you BOTH should change the characters' markings and make them UNIQUE. Then you'll have a right to say if someone copied you. Cuz seriously? A brown Jenna? Wow. That's clever. I can honestly see the point in fighting for THAT idea. I still can't believe the mods let this go on for so long, no offense. Its a war of the Mary-Sues case. Its a lose-lose situation.

I think she's only criticizing your work because it was so easy to call the two characters "similar."
My suggestions: Add a few color spots (they can be tiny), give your character different colored "socks" on her paws, or change the fur color of her ears.

There are so many ways to make your character unique.

Add markings, spots, tones, colors, tufts of hair that stick up, differently-shaped eyes. Anything in its physical appearance that doesn't count as an accessory.

That's not what cat and I are saying. A collar does change appearance, but what if MOS's character had a collar, or if your character wasn't wearing one?

Why not experiment with little markings on the ears, face, neck, tail, chest, or paws? They don't have to be huge, just noticable. For example, my dog is a black lab/sharpe mix, but he has a white spot at the base of his neck. It's things like that.



Floppy ears could just be a style of drawing the ears in a picture. What if MOS changed the way she drew the ears in the next picture?


Tovah, could you humor me and try adding a mark, or different colored ears, or something?

Ya well Beth is a memory for me too. she was my dog when i was a baby. i have pictures of her but they're old and not on the comp. she died when i was 2 years old. the only thing i remember of her is the one time she gave me a pony ride around the living room. and the time i brought her to the park. and i dont remember anything else. she died when i was so young and she was my first dog. she died at the age 5 becausse she had cancer... T_T
