Togo: Thu Jul 03, 2008, 1:55pm (exeptable)
DTW{AB}: Wed June 18, 2008, 7:27am (Unexeptable, but maybe excused)
UK: Today! (Perfect)
Swords: Sat Jul 12, 2008, 6:40 (Good enough)

And Zekee_US has made a suprise return :) Hope he can keep it contistant.

Those aren't bad at all. The only iffy one is Drew, and she has a perfectly fine excuse. People have lives, and people are busy. There's more that they have to do than just moderate, I'm sure. They have jobs and families and friends like the rest of us

And yet, UK did post that this is a pathetic excuse..

Like:

'I cant get on my computer much lately, sorry guys." Is not good enough.
'I've got a life outside of Balto Source.'

Extra Extra...

Anyway, if you cannot keep up too the standards of what a Mod on Balto, TLK and Animation source needs, than you shouldn't exept the job in the first place.

Balto, I'm gonna say this as nicely as I can... Let. It. Go. Now. As long as we do have mods on the site, whether we show up or no, or if we're there but doing other work, is none of your business. I appreciate your concern, but really, that's enough.

No it is my business, i'm a user, and I expect 'decent' standards, we get 'semi-decent' at the moment, now Brown, if all on your mind is too 'close-the-topic' than please just don't post in it,

Too me, you sound like a 'follower' trust me, alot of mods get them, so stop getting me into your 'mind games'.

Anyway, if we continue like this, it's going to start a flaim war, so I would just want to say, with NO comment from anyone else. This is my opinion, every single one of us can have our own opinion, no matter how much other people don't like it, so for our infomation, NO, I won't just 'Take his advice, and let it go.'

Balto, this has turned into a flame war. You're too late to say 'no, let's not turn into a war'. You were given warnings to stop. Now one last time, drop this

This is not really a "flame war". Simply members stating what they think this site should deserve.

And I do actually hold some respect for all of you not "letting this go" and simply sitting by the way-side and WISHING and HOPING that things will be done when it is clear that they won't until someone comes and addresses them.

People like Baltorocks123 and Sepp are simply standing for what they think is right.

Like Baltorocks123 said :

JerseyCaptian: In regards to your post about me, I must say how dare you? Who gave the right to judge me? You do not know me nor do you know how I keep track of this site. I do my job the best I can and yes, there are times when I rise a little bit in temper but I have been trying to keep that down. Here's some advice, don't judge a book by it's cover, but you've already done that it seems. Now when you say 'failed to meet the responsibilites of the position' what in the cosmos do you mean by that? I do meet the responsibilites as do all of the mods on this site. Why would you say such a horrid thing? You think that many of the mods are not up to the challenges? You don't know them either, nor do you see how they mod, me being among them. Who called you the jury or judge of this matter? This whole thing has gotten way out of control and it should be heard to, in other words, for the love of all things, let it die. The staff serves this site as best they can and treats it well. Maybe we do need a few new mods, I don't know but unless something comes up, just forget it for the moment and be happy that there are mods on this site, who do do their jobs and do it to the best of their ability, me being one of them. You say that this is nothing personal? Well, with what you said, now it is personal and I will not back down until you get into your head that Steet has given his opinion. How hard is it to let something like this go? Yes, it is good that the members are voicing their concerns, something I have no quarrel with at all. I would've done the same back when I was a regular member but I never did, mainly since I found no problems.

Besides, this isn't about me. You may think I'm a bad mod, that's your opinion but I am a proud member of this site and I consider my job to be the best and possibly, only job I'll ever have.

Watch what you say and no, this isn't a threat or anything like that. Just a suggestion.

Stop being so melodramatic. Nothing I said qualifies as flaming or "horrid" hate speech. I submitted an opinion, which I am entitled to do. The very worst things I said, which certainly do not qualify as "horrid", were:

"It is my opinion that Brown Wolf is demonstrating exactly what is wrong with the current moderator pool"

"You see, whenever any person who serves in a staffing capacity has the attitude that they are NOT here to serve us (the community of members), then their egos have run amok. They have failed to meet the responsibilities of their positions. And ANY moderator who feels this way - like Brown Wolf, deserves to be removed immediately."

"It was quite a foolish thing to say what she said."

"Case closed. I think that Baltorocks123's points (and others', including mine) have been made quite well now that Brown Wolf stuck her foot in her mouth like that."

What gives me the right? When you say things like: "...it's a lost cause. Mods can't always be at your call." And when you try to push people into dropping an issue you don't happen to like dealing with. Who made you judge and jury? How dare you? If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. This place is for rants. Members having issues with certain mods is certainly a case of legitimate ranting as I see it. You are not above suspicion simply by merit of your position. Nor are you above criticism. Again, if you can't handle that, you have no place being on staff...and the same goes for anyone else who is so self-absorbed that they take every criticism as a "horrid" personal attack.

Amen, Jerseycaptain. He has cleard this point once and for all. And like he said 'If you cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen'.
