Sadie shrugged. "My family never did anything specail with any of mine or my siblings."
"Really?" Jackson asked. "With my family, it was a really big deal." He croached down to Luke's height to talk to him directly. "You see, losing your baby teeth is a sign your growing up. My family used to bury all of a teeth in one spot deep in the woods, then, when we had all of our adult teeth, we would find the place we put out baby feet and dig them back up. Of course, most of them were gone by then, but it was the thought that counted."

"I think we could go out now-" Jackson started.
Sadie cut him off in a rush. "Of course we'll wait till morning." She looked from Luke to Jackson and glared. It was well-known between the two that Jackson had not fear of the cat and, also, hardly believed it didn't exist. She would not let Jackson's careless ways effect her adopted-son's decisions.

"I still don't believe it's real," Jackson said, determined he was right. He turned his back to them and began to go into the woods.
"Don't joke about these things," Sadie said, thinking Jackson was just kidding. When he showed no sign of turning back, she called out, "Don't be stupid, Jackson. Get back here!"

"Its exists momma." said Luke. "I know it does." he said, whimpering. Suddenly, a terrible roar echo threw the valley, it was one so terrible it would make your blood run cold. Luke suddenly froze up, unable to move from fear.

Jackson heard Nickel's calls and slowed to a stop. He looked behind him and waited for her to catch up.

Jackson sighed as he sat down. "I just don't get why everyone is so worried about this cat thing. I mean, we don't even know for sure if it exists."
