The massive, yet handsome and lean, German Shepherd sat quietly on the sidelines, head high and ears pricked. Though he looked more like a shy dog, something about his blue eyes could turn blood to ice. It was a deep color, but had lighter flecks, and it was almost a gateway to a past of darkest hours and pain.

Caleb shivered and shook his head, looking around the rings and the other dogs. It wasn't his first time here; scars and recent tears on his pelt proved that.

Lifting a paw, he licked blood from a very recent fight from his toes. Lifting his gaze, Caleb saw a few people in uniforms dragging away two labradors. One golden, the other black, both bloodstained and eyes dull.

When they passed, Caleb's owner scratched his ears. "Good dog," he heard him say, "you're practically invincible."

But instead of wagging his tail, he whipped around as an obviously familiar scent passed under his nose. Spotting Larka, his pricked ears stiffened and stood up straight. The scent of her was almost overpowering.

He made a step foward, but saw Mammoth and heard his comments, then turned and padded away.

"Great...Just my luck." Sighing, the Shepherd sped off to find something else to do.

Emuku nodded her head to Mahksim aswell. " I am a fighting pro named Emuku." She told them.
" I left my owner cuzz even tho he didnt give me drugs well fighting he wanted me to kill my oponit even tho I prefure to let them choose their own fate." she told them. " And if its something to eat you two need I can help. Would you like dog food, some grub from an old friend, or an animal or something. I dont know what you like so you tell me what you want and I can probly help you out." She told them in her calm tone.

Caleb had been heading back towards his owner when he heard a voice. Whipping around, he expected a fight and curled his lip, muscles tensed. When saw Slash and noticed her friendly fashion, he lowered his hackles. "Hey."

A little confused, the shepherd did nothing else. Never had another dog walked up to him unless they wanted a fight. Caleb raised an eyebrow. "Is there something I can do for you?" But suprisingly, his tail began to wag in greeting.

Caleb pricked his ears at Slash in understanding.

"Some dogs are just plain jerks...But don't ever let that get you down, just remember that you're better than that, you don't have to feed off other dog's emotions because they have none of their own," The shepherd stopped. Since when was he so wise?!

Shaking his head, he added, "Anyway, it'll be great having someone to talk to." In fact, he was beginning to like Slash already. She looked and sounded like a good friend if you got to know her.

Finding a subject, Caleb wagged his tail. "I can't wait for the next fight, I hope I get to go against that jerk Mammoth and rip his guts out."
