Katie smiled, licking the blood off of Kai as he set himself down. He was okay, probably just a few cuts and bruises. "I'm just glad we're all okay, save for a few of us." she winced and looked at her torn shoulder. "I'm just glad I was reminded why I wanted to be with a dog. Less violence." paws would come up and rub her son's heads "I'd rather not have my sweets see blood in their first year."

Tai smiled, setting herself down beside her Father "I'm fine, Papa." body would lean into his with a sigh. Half her face would smile up at Kodi and grinned. Big almost baby eyes would look up. Which made Katie laugh "Takes you back huh, honey? I remember you were there when she first looked at you, anyone like that."

"I agree." he agree that dogs were normally less violant that wolves, except in Steele's case, he also didn't like that his pups had gotten caught in the middle. He was more relaxed knowing Lena was with Aleu, he trusted his sister with his life. "Yeah, I remember." Kodi remembered when Tai's eyes first opened and she looked at him with those eyes. He licked his pup on the nose. He then looked at Cachen who was watching his mother lick the blood off Kai, he looked rather sick. "Cachen what's wrong? You don't look so good."

Katie chuckled, looking to Cachen concernedly. "I'm worried too, you feeling sick, baby boy?" her ears were pinned back.

Cachen nodded, looking very sick, slowly slinked into the den. "Ugh.." he shuddered, laying down at the very base.

Tai sighed, rubbing her nose as her Father licked it. That paw would brush against her ruffled necklace. "Oh gosh...Is he gonna be okay, Papa?"

Kodi didn't know how to awnser his daughter, he hopped Cachen was alright but he didn't know. "I don't know." said Kodi, he didn't want to say something he wasn't sure about, it might be a lie and that's what caused everything today. "Lets go check on him. Kai you helpped your mother with her wounds." Kodi and Tai went into the den. He looked at his son, worried, he didn't know what was wrong. "Cachen..." He put his paw on his son's forehead, no fever but he definently looked sick. Then he remembered, Cachen was watching the blood being cleaned off Kai when he started looking sick and Cachen had never wanted to see the blood of the meat he ate, he normally closed his eyes. "You couldn't take seeing all that blood could you?" he asked.

Steele watched Katie and Kai. "Why'd it have to be the one that was the fighter?" he asked himself, he'd seen Kai's strength, the pup was a good fighter. He decided to wait to see if he'd need to cause a distraction.

Cachen had wrapped his paws about his eyes, fluffy form curled up deep into the den. Tai looking at him with concern. The pup's head came up, still fairly sick-looking. Semi large ears would pin down comically as he blushed "Sorry, Dad." he murmured, a crooked smile over his features. Cachen would close his eyes, watchign his older sister come up and nuzzle him.

Katie sighed, looking to Kai, exauhsted as he was, try and lick the torn shoulder. "I'll be fine love, go in and get some sleep with Cachen, either your father or Tai will come out to make sure it's quite, okay?" the smile, that smile as bright at the sun. That Mothering smile.

Kai nodded, nuzzling his mother one more time before craweling back into the den. "I can take it from here, Dad, Tai. Mum said I had to get some rest anway." silvery form would nuzzle against his baby brother, hazel eyes closing.

Tai giggled, nudging her Father cutely "We should leave them to sleep, Papa." she whispered.

Lena slowed down as she slowed down as she heard Aleu was falling behind. She blushed a little and said "Sorry.." she looked at her aunt and smiled a little. She then thought that she heard something and looked around the place, she was getting freaked out, but the lights of Nome created a shield of light through the forest land and she growled. She then moved through the area quickly and smiled as she licked Aleu's and began to walk towards the town. She then looked at Aleu and said "We are almost to the boat.." she smiled. She knew that Aleu would remember that boat.....

Niju looked at Tai and smirked, he was speaking to her through her mind, making it seem like Balto, telling him to come forward. He would clamp her maw shut as he dragged her, then Lena would come easily if they found he had her sister. He smirked (please go through with this..))

"Alright." said Kodi to his daughter "Sleep tight boys." Kodi nuzzles his sons before he and his daughter leave the den. Kodi walks over to his mate. "Cachen will be fine, all the blood was just too much for his stomach." He was glad his son hadn't caught something but something else got him worried. "Do you think its safe to stay here? With Niju and Steele in the forest?" Not noticing Tai being dragged off.

Balto lied beside his boat, hurt. He tried to fight Niju but he'd made one wrong move once th fight had reached the top of his boat, he'd let Niju knock him off and he hit the ground hard. He tried to move but his ribs hurt, they were probably bruised or broken. "I've got to warn Kodi." he said weakly, trying to stand but he fell to the ground with a groan.

Aleu walked with her niece she saw the boat, she'd remembered all the days she and her siblings had played there. "I remember this." she said. Then she saw her father, saw that he was hurt. "Oh no. Papa!"

Steele smiled, he hadn't had to do a thing. He walked over to Niju, he put his claw close to Tai's throat. "Keep quiet." he said. "Good job Niju."

Katie smiled, looking to her mate with a smile. "We'll be just fine. Hey if Kai recovers quickly we'll be covered." she chuckled, limping over to Kodi to give him a nuzzle. She too didin't really notice Tai being dragged away.

Tai however, noticed. Trying to keep up with Niju as he half dragged her through the snow. Body tubmled through the snow before he stopped. She glared at Steele as the large dog placed his claw to her throat. A deep growl escaped the sleek muzzle. Usually liquid eyes became ice,head elevating away from the sharp claws.

Kodi nodded. "Kai is a real fighter, he tore Niju up back there." said Kodi. He looked at his mates shoulder, it was cut rather deep. "You're shoulder is cut pretty deep, are you sure you'll be alright?" he asked concerned.

Steele looked into Tai's eyes, something was masmerising about them. Suddenly he couldn't bring himself to hurt her, even if a second earlier he wanted to slit her throat if she so much as barked. He pulled his claw back. He shook his head, shaking away the feeling. He then hit Tai in the back of the head to try and knock her out.

Niju growled as he looked at the Steele taking away Tai. He looked at her and smirked, knowing that Lena would follow slowly after. He watched Steele and then turned to Tai and said "Just because he puts the claw away..doesn't mean we won't-" he growled as Steele knocked her out. She sighed as she looked at him and smirked "Don't let personal feelings get in the way" he growled, he then walked over towards the cave and said "Throw her in the back cavern.." he said as he let out a howl, letting Lena and Aleu know. He then said to her We have your sister..come.. he smirked as he knew that it reached it

Lena saw Balto and gasped "Grandpa.." she said as she licked his maw but picked her head up when she heard the sound of the howl, but the thoughts, that was what brought tears to her eyes as she thought he was bluffing. She growled as she looked at Aleu and said "Watch him.." she was scared as she approched the area of Steele and Niju...looking around for Steele first..

Katie nodded, looking down at her shoulder "Nothing a little laying off won't cure." she smiled. Pressing her nose to Kodi's in a 'kiss'. She was so proud, so happy. A wodnerful mate, strong and beautiful children...Everything she had hoped for.

Tai continued to growl, looking down as Steele took his claw away. Head would lean forward as the paw struck the back of her head. Eyes widen before they became soft, and closed slowly. Body going limp and her muzzle tearing form Niju's grasp. Her head would definately have quite the bruise from such a blow from a larger dog than she.

(Heh, hope no one minds me bringing in someone ^^;)

Deep moonlight eyes glimmered form the shadows. A very dark looking female coming from them. About Niju's size but without the 'bulk', Neveen. Black fur glimmered and eyes peered at the wolf beside her "Having a good time kidnapping yearlings for your own, big brother?" she chuckled softly, glancing at Steele a moment, with an obvious but slight interest.

Aleu had heard Niju's howl and unknowingly his thought speech, she didn't know he was able to do that. "Papa, can you walk?" she asked, she needed to go protect Lena, Lena was strong but Niju apparently had someone with him, he'd said We.

Balto managed to get to his feet, his ribs ached but his family was in trouble. "Niju and I fought, he's after Kodi's kids and his family. We've got to help them. I'll go get Kodi, you help Lena." said Balto, Aleu could reach them before he could.

"Alright Papa." They both took off in their own directions.

Steele threw Tai's limp unconsious body into the back cavern. "Sorry kid, this is your family busniess." said Steele, he actuelly kind of like Tai. He walked out of the cave and looked around. Niju wasn't in sight. He then noticed the new arrival. He reconized her. "Well, what are you doing here?" asked Steele.

OOC: Not at all, does this mean we can have five as well though? I don't care rather we can or not but I was kind of wanting to bring someone in as well.

Niju growled as he saw his sister and said "Get lost..." he growled as he snapped his jaws at his sister. He looked at Tai and then said "She will be let go when I get my-" he took in her sweet scent and stayed in the shadows and growled.

Lena heard the sound of Steele and turned around and growled as he spoke and said "Where's Tai!?" she growled as she looked around. They were in a very secluded spot...where most wolves didn't know about. She growled as she looked at Steele, wanting an answer..

Steele didn't know what to do. It would of been diffrent if Niju's sister hadn't shown up. It was two on two now and if Niju's sibling was half the fight he was, they were in trouble. He decided Lena was the easier of the two. "Well, you'll find out soon enough." he snarled.

Balto staggered into the clearing with Kodi and Katie. "Kodi, your kids are in danger." he said.

Neveen blinked cutely as she shrunk back itno the shadows, keeping her voice in a whisper. "Oh now is that supposed to hurt me??" her ears pinned back and fur rose "Remeber Niji...I didn't have to lure a guy here with a family member. This is my territory...and I'm kind enough to let...you...use it!" she looked at Lena thorugh the bushes "Oh, and now I can see why! Fragile, tender thing, pure in every way. Always loved those girls eh big brother?"

Katie blinked, looking to Balto shocked "Oh God!" she rushed up to him "Please, come here. You look tired. And from your body's condition, you won't last long without a rest." she looked to Balto though concernedly "Which kids? We have four, Balto..."
