when is the winner annouced??

Name: Jennifer (often called Jen or Jen-Jen by others)

Age: 2 1/2 years

Gender: Female

Breed: Finnish Spitz

Personality: Very self-reliant. Doesn't like strangers, loves children (whether they be animal or human), afraid of storms (any kind), has a habit of barking often, and hates it when people call her Jen-Jen.

History: Jennifer was born an only pup to her parents Jammer and Tank. She was bought at 7 weeks by a Canadian man named Terry, who raised her as a hunting dog in Alaska. She was raised with Terry's other hunting dogs Hunter, Terra, and Ice. Jennifer became a skilled hunter, despite her small stature. She liked doing things herself, often running from her hunting mates to find the game herself or try and take down large animals like Caribou and Moose, often causing injury to her.

When not hunting, Jennifer normally would spend her time with Ice and Hunter. Terra was normally always with Terry so she never got to spend time with her often. She would also love to play with Terry's nieces and nephews when they came to visit. Storms sometimes reared their ugly heads where they lived, and Jen did not like them at all, often seeking comfort from Hunter. The two grew very close in the two years they spent together

One day when the group was out on a hunting trip, a wolf from out of the blue attacked Hunter. Terry killed the wolf and dressed his wounds, not taking another thought of the attack. Not even a month later, Hunter became excessively aggressive and Terry finally realized Hunter had gotten rabies from the wolf that had attacked him. With a heavy heart, Terry shot Hunter that night. Jennifer went into a state of depression when Hunter went; barely ate, wouldn't hunt, barely moved from a spot in the living room next to the fire.

Terry later grew very sickly, so he and the dogs all went to stay with Terry's brother, his wife and their daughter, Rosie, in Nome. The move sort of threw Jen off her depressing state for a while. She was so curious of the new town that she got up and went for a look-see.

When Jennifer first came across JT, she was shocked to see the resemblance between Hunter and him. She even went up to him, saying "Hunter?" but quickly realized her mistake and walked off. From then on, Jen was interested in JT, following him around and wanting to hang around with him. This was very strange behavior for her. She thought it was the fact that he looked so much like Hunter that she wanted to be around him so often, but was soon to find out that even though this may have been true in the beginning, she now had true feelings for JT.

How can she tell him? More importantly, how will he react? With these questions in her head, Jen has put off telling JT until she believes the time is right.

Origin of the character: Jennifer was a character I based off of my uncle Heath's Finnish Spitz, Jammer. She was a really beautiful dog, and she acted like such a dork when someone would play with her. Sadly, she had to be put down because she caught Parvo and my uncle didn't have the money for treatment. I re-discovered Jennifer when I was going through an old school notebook and saw her picture. I did a total remake of her and that is the Jennifer you see before you.

Name: Maia (pronounced the same as Maya)
Age: 1 1/2
Gender: Female
Breed:1/2 Labrador, 1/4 Irish Setter, 1/4 Dalmatian
Personality: Maia is shy and sweet. She often doesn’t know how to say no to people and sometimes gets pushed around a bit. She is often thought of as stupid because she doesn’t speak up for herself but she is clever and knows when someone is taking advantage of her. She is calm and peaceful and she likes to be in quiet places. Although quiet, she is usually quite contented and loves making friends. Her dream is to fall in love. She hates rude people with bad manners.
History: Maia is daughter of purebred Labrador Missy and Irish Setter/Dalmatian cross, Connor. She was adopted into the same home as the proud Saluki Skye and the rebel mongrel Heidi. She was always quiet as a pup but became quieter and less social living with them as they constantly quarrelled. At first, Maia was disgusted with John Tom and thought he was pretty much in love with himself. She kept bumping in to him but she always thought she was in love with another dog. It wasn’t until he saved her from drowning that she finally realised - she was falling for him. At first she denied it, but she couldn’t stop thinking of him. When she finally admitted it to herself, she realised there was another problem, she was too shy to tell him!
Origin of the character: Missy and Connor are two of my older characters that I don’t draw very often. Not so long ago, I found an old picture of them and their puppies and I decided to draw their puppies again. I put Maia’s other 5 siblings up for adoption since I didn’t have any use for them and I didn’t want to see the characters go to waste.

Gender: Female
Breed: Mainly Husky (but has a German Sheperd in, what results in her yellowish coat)
Personality: Flirtatious, seeks attention of males, loves hanging around with them, often ends up pregnant
History: As a pup she was brought up as a pedigree dog although she has a bit of German Shepherd. She is a popular female amongst the males. She has 5 pups whose fathers are different. She isn't a kind of female that's looking for a stable relationship, but rather a lot of adventures. She hates to be lonely. Her master owns a big land and doesn't mind her having pups because he often sends them to a farm his family owns for shepherding dogs. She had a crush on Dino and his brother JT caught her seductive eye. She doesn't like competition for a male as she thinks no other female can compete with her.
Origin of the character: She was an original character I made to have a story of her own, in a sort of diary, as she hasn't got any mate but temporary boyfriends. It would also include her experience with both Dino and JT (if she gets to be one of his girls) and what she felt during each relationship. Her story is coming up, tough I'm still working on gathering her boyfriends lol

Name: Maren Michelle( preferebly just Maren)
Age: 2.5 years
Gender: Female
Breed: Saluki mix
Personality: Well, she is from the south, so she does have that “southern accent”. Depending on the way you look at her, she could be hard like tack, or soft and mellow. Maren is hardworking, but stubborn. She is reluctant to change her mind, until she fully realizes she is wrong. But she is so very devoted to her friends and her family.
History: She is from the Southern USA, and was owned by a lady wityh her two children. Life was great, playing with the kids, escaping the summer heat. One day a year and a half later, one of the children became deathly ill, ande maren was left behind in care of her owner's brother in Alaska.
It was there that Maren met JT. He was the most conspicious of the dogs. Bold, flashy, but 100% handsome. It was like she could melt into his very paws! But there was a downside to him. She wasn't sure if he would stay so true to her if they ever ended up together. For now, Maren has decided to keep these thoughts to herself.
Likes: People and life altogether, music, dancing, rain, and of course JT!!
Dislikes: Swimming, extreme heat, teenagers (bad experiences)
Origins of Character: Maren was originally supposed to be me. But her personality contradicted from mine so I'd have to say she is not me. Minette was supposed toi be her mother, but that messed up the whole family tree, so now Silvie(from the movie) is ner mother and I haven't determined the father yet...

Yeah so that's her bio... might fix it later... story kinda crazy... LOL
