Oh, no, I agree with you--the catchy quotes were a result of her *not* thinking much and being unable to arrive at the correct words. (Fortunately, "disposable" was applicable as well and surely got her point across!) I only meant to imply that, as we all know, the characters do exist in an alternate or parallel universe (I like to think that "fiction writers" are often merely creative and talented enough to be able to channel the goings-on in such worlds and record them in this one, lol.)

I find that rather interesting, since some of my favorite material I've written is in another universe. It's true, written characters tend to take on a life of their own. The alternate universe thing is a little far-fetched, but it sure is fun to think about.

Neat. ^^ I like the idea of parallel universes...makes sense to me. Hopefully someday I'll have proof--but 'til then, it IS fun to ponder.

I didn't find Dusty pushy or fat at all. And plus, it's spelled "Kodi." And Stella was fine as a character--just her song was very out of place.

Aww, I like the terrier more than Stella (whom I don't really dislike, either...I just don't *love* her.)

The terrier was simply overenthusiastic and not that bright, and let's face it, that describes most dogs (I live with a prime example - imagine that terrier weighing at least seventy pounds and then you've got a real problem). Stella... uh-uh. You could say a lot worse about her than just spunky and airheaded. You guys cannot possibly think that any single line spoken by the Stella character was more annoying than the annoying and very bad human-doing-barking and bad Scottish accent/falsetto "the stork has arrrrrrived! The stork...has arrrrrrived!" Etc. Because, to my ears, that was worse than being tied into a schoolroom desk and being forced to listen to someone dragging their long fingernails across a blackboard...and back again.
