yes they do! they mean alot to alot of people and they are not just a band. they're special and different and offiacly the BIGGEST band on earth. 1. They are not "different" despite what MTV tells you. 2. They're not the biggest band in the world, and even if they were, Hitler was popular, does that mean he's good?

I think you entirely missed the point. The moral of the story is popularity doesn't determine quality. Hitler was a popular figure in 1930's/40's Germany, and we all know how he was. Get it?

Green Day is nothing like Hitler and they aren't just popular thy've actually got good music . And I don't even know what "MTV" is thank you very much so "MTV" doesn't tell me what to do. ANd they are the biggest band on earth; it's been announced in over 34 magazines, 23 Tv shows and such like that. Why don't you research before you argue?

By "MTV" I'm generalizing any major media outlet (and yes, that includes your TV shows and magazines). Green Day has nothing backing them up except for the media and their brainwashed pre-teen fans.
