That's what we need to focus on right now. If all goes well, we can get started right away on planning another one. For now we need to determine factors such as the following:
1. What will be our agenda? 2. How much will the trip cost per person? (roughly, since different people will have to pay different amounts of money when it comes to transportation) 3. What are our plans in the event of an emergency? How will we keep everyone safe?
I think those are the three big questions right now.
I agree - we shouldn't really be worrying about future trips. And once I get the site done (which I am slow............ -_-) then a lot of these things will be answered. And we need more of an answer to who thinks they can go, or can go. Because it depends on the number of people who plans on coming. That is a big variable that can quickly change the stakes.

Well, MayaHuskee, you (or someone, I don't remember XP) said to suggest stuff. You (or they) didn't specify exactly what to suggest XD (even though I should have realized Nome is far away from Cleveland )
Anyways, I have a question as to the price of traveling and such. Will each person pay for themselves, or will all fees be combined so each person pays one fixed amount?
I know it's a stupid question...I mean, who would want to pay for someone else's expenses, right?
I do have an idea of what the answer to my question is. Just wanted to make sure...

No, I still can't, I was thinking of going another time (if there was another time) if I have the means to go (even though I am not important really).
But I now understand it was completely pointless to ask this question right now. Maybe someone else had the same question, though.
I am often dumbfounded at my own stupidity.

This may sound self-conceitd and stuff but, if the teens and kids on here are anything like my parents they would never agree to this. I will be 16 in a couple months and my parents still wouldnt care and they definantly wouldn't go with me with a bunch of kids I met on the internet. I mean think about it really.
I am not trying to be negative but that is REALITY.

Oh, but you ARE 100% right. But see, this is why 'god' created a varaity of people. ;] So that way people can go, but there are also people who cant. See, my mother is helping me host the whole thing. So obviously she isn't like your parents. See, my mother has brains (sometimes). She figures on letting me make my own mistakes. ;] If I want to do something stupid, shes gonna let me. (As long as it doesn't kill me). Maybe my madre is just not old fashioned like a lot of parents. And so be it - you will not be going. Other people shall be going. And really, what will happen? Everyone under Eighteen needs to have one parent or legal gaurdian with them. We are taking all precautions that will be needed. If anything goes wrong, we'll handle it.

Actually your parents would'nt have to hang around with a bunch of kids, every perosn going under 18 needs a parent or guardian with them therefore the trip will also cater for the interests of the parents aswell as the younger people going.

Well, the trip isn't for a year, and we wont be needing to send in the registration fees for at the most three months til the trip. So, You have about a Nine month period there.

Maya, I'm 12 1/2 years old. if we go after june I will be 13. My b-day is the 8th of june. It will be next year, in July or so. We are not really set on dates though. And even being 13, you will have to bring an adult; only 16 and up can come unacompanied, but of course with consult of their parents.
yeah I know. as I said. I'll see if my aunt can take me. Hmm next July. Whoot! I'll be 14 by then.
