Amen. I'm a big fan of 80's rock and pop (Survivor anyone?) as well as the '50s and '60s. The '70s was a BADDDD decade in my opinon...just like the '90s.

Those weren't the problems I was aiming at for her, my mate met her once and Amy didnt even acknowledge her and do you know what she's like on the road? I feel sorry for her band mates, no wonder the guitarist left You dont know anything about my life yet as you thought I summed up Amy's life you decided to sum up mine? Its how you deal with problems that makes you stand and her "music" doesn't seem like the right outlet for her Making a lot of money by using depression then feeling sorry for yourself due to success despite still interviewing and doing it doesn't make me think she's anything about what she says she is
Agreed, seems to be the go with many a musician today with the amount of money media and record companies and alike seem to be throwing about.
Man I can't believe people don't like Jazz. It makes for some nice soothing background music when your in the mood to just chill.

I hate rap with a passion. It's not music. Ooh. People rhyming. It takes no vocal talent to rap. I'll have to have my friend e-mail me her essay she wrote on how rap is not music. Even a chorus director says how it's not music. And since he's a teacher, he obviously knows his stuff.
I also dislike country. I don't know why. I guess I just hate how it sounds. Same with R&B and Blues. And death metal. I just... really hate that. XD I mean, what's the point of listening to something when you can't tell what they are saying? I just don't like how they sound. Plus, some of it gives me a headache.
I don't like overly "emo" music, either. Evanescence is awsome, though. Because like Dingo had said, she has a reson for her music being the way it is. But even when people do, and it's just.. too too emo, then I don't like it. XD
Yes... I have a very complicated taste in music. If I think of more, I'll add it. =D

I find the 70s to be the last decade of really great rock n roll music. The early 80s weren't bad, but by the mid 80s it started to go down hill. That's when music became more of an image then music.

M&M and similar, Punk
Cows don't like Punk either, I saw an experiment where four types of music was played to cows in a small paddock. I forget two of the types, but the other two were Punk and Classical. When the Classical music was played the cows came right up to the fence, but when the punk was played they got as far away as the paddock boundaries allowed them to!
