Being a wolf of deep patience, it was quite the sight to see Zasshu angry. Not only was he angry, but infuriated. He let out a loud snarl and cut huge, deep claw shaped gashes in the wall of the den with one massive swipe of his paw.

"How DARE she!" he shouted. "How DARE that INSULANT she-wolf TOY with me that way!"

' Blood stained her mouth and neck. The they had stitched her mouth all around to keep her quiet. One of the stitches had broken in half and Cheyanne could barely stick her tongue out to drink the water on the floor of the large cage. The people working in the small hideaway had captured her and hadn't even put her to sleep to insert the stitches to her mouth. Death was the only word that kept repeating itself in her head. Cheyanne tried to yawn and another stitch broke loose. Her eyes widened as a drop of blood trickled down her bottom lip and fell to the concrete floor. Hay was layed out on the floor in the back of the cage for her. Just like all the other cages lined up in rows, either beside her or in front of her. The hay was warmer that sitting or laying on the concrete. But what scared her the most was that on the hay in her cage was coated with blood and guts from the last animal there. She wouldn't do it. She couldn't do it. It made her sick. A couple of handfuls of the guts still had some meat on it, even with the lack of food the people gave her she wouldn't touch the guts no matter how hungry she was. Cheyanne nearly choked on the thought of looking behind her just to see the mixture of blood and horror. She couldn't even eat the dog food she was given because she thought it would be replaced with guts or even made from it. Her ribs poked out from her sides and her stomach growled. The lights in the room dimmed and she saw the large male wolf in the cage across from her began frothing at the mouth. The people had left and wouldn't be able to hear him cry. He wasn't stitched up like she was, nor was he set up to be. His eyes lost their color. His growling echoed of the walls. Cheyanne began to cry as she watched the male stare at her then began a fit of whipping his head back in forth. The white spit from his mouth flew the same direction. He stopped and grew stiff legged, she saw his ribs. He was being starved too. Tears left her eyes as she kept watching the poor thing. Her eyes widened as he lunged at his own side and tore himself open. He ripped out he organs and began to chew on them before he fell. He bashed his head on the side of his cage and his dead body slowly slid down the side and his head dangled. His organs resting beside him and hanging from the large hole in his side which he made himself. Cheyanne stared a second time then screamed out in terror, the rest of her stitches broke and blood left the little holes. She looked behind her looking at the blood and guts and wondered if the same thing had happened here. Was this how she was going to be. Infected, starved, and left kill herself in a cage with watchful eyes always on her waiting for her to crush as well? She sobbed uncontrollably.

Cheyanne shot her eyes open and looked around the den. Her pups in a circle sleeping like bunnies, and her mate beside her. Zasshu against the wall of the den. Cheyanne lied her head back down on her forearms and sighed. She closed her eyes, tears rolling down her cheeks. What a dream she had. She was playing happily with her pups the day before and all good things had happened. Why a such a bloody dream?

Zasshu had not been able to sleep at all the night before. He was on his way back to the den with his latest kill, when suddenly he dropped what he was holding in his mouth and started panting extremely heavily. If he could sweat, he probably would have been. Zasshu's heart started palpitating extremely fast and painfully in his chest, so much so that he could have sworn he was having a heart attack. He could feel the blood vessels in his eyes pumping as he stared off ahead, making everything in his vision morph into different shapes and sizes.

Zasshu screamed as the pain became unbearable. He had been right. He was having a heart attack. He collapsed right where he was.

Cheyanne ran to Zasshu's side. Loki was out hunting and her pups were asleep, so neither of them saw what happened. "Zasshu? Zasshu are you okay?" she screamed.

Zasshu stared up at Cheyanne with excruciating pain in his eyes, and he opened his mouth to try to say something.

"My chest... it... hurts" is all he could manage to get out before his vision went black and he faded away. His eyes rolled back in his head and his head fell to the side and hit the ground with a thud.

I'm having writer's block dang it. Sorry. Also, I'm locking a bunch of my old roleplays because I no longer need them, use them and I have WAY too many. So with the number of Rps I'm locking I'll be making a newer version on Texas Balto. It'll have a different name, etc. It's a twist between Life on the Prairie and Texas Balto. Cheyanne went blank. She stared at him for a few minutes, unsure of what to do. After she began to cry Cheyanne ran back into the den and curled around her pups. She was totally lost. 'What do I do?!"

If I can answer that, it's up to Keehl to decide, but personally two other people that joined no longer Rp here and it'd probably give us more ideas. Since I'm pretty much experiencing writer's block, I think it'd go okay. Last time a person joined, they would make a sentence then post another, if you know what I mean. Please don't do that. BUT THAN AGAIN; It's Keehl's choice not mine.

While Markus was out searching for Zasshu, who had not come home from his solo hunt yet, he eventually stumbled across Zasshu's unconscious body. And though he was indeed unconscious, his eyes were still open, but unfocused.

"Zasshu!" Markus said worriedly, trying to see if Zasshu would respond or not. He did not, so Markus started glancing around frantically, try to think what he should do.

Just then, Rukii came along, and saw Markus standing over Zasshu.

"What happened?!" Rukii exclaimed, running up to them.

"It's Zasshu, he's unconscious!" Markus said back. "Rukii, what do we do?!"

"Well, what happened? Why is he unconscious? How long has he been unconscious for?"

"I don't know... I found him like this."

"Hold on. I'm getting Shinso. Stay here with him, I'll be right back!"

Rukii ran back to the grassy area just outside the den, where Shinso was lying in the grass, enjoying the warmth of the sun. He had come here to lay in the grass under the sun to warm his fur, since the weather had been chilly the past couple of days. Fall was coming to an end, and it would be nearing winter soon. Once she found him, Rukii ran up to Shinso.

"Shinso, Markus found Zasshu. He's unconscious. We don't know what to do, we need your help."

"Well, whats wrong with him?" Shinso asked.

"We don't know. Markus found him like that."

Shinso thought for a moment, remembering that Zasshu had been complaining about chest pains a lot lately. Maybe that has something to do with it. Shinso thought to himself. He then stood up, shaking the dirt and grass out of his fur before turning to Rukii.

"Alright. Take me to him."

Markus was about to follow after Rukii, as it seemed she was taking a while, when he spotted her and Shinso approaching.

"Shinso, he's right here." Markus said, looking down at Zasshu.

Shinso sniffed Zasshu and tried licking his face to try to wake him. It took some time, but Zasshu's still semi-open eyes starting coming back into focus, and he starting blinking furiously, as his eyes had become dry due to the length of time they had been open. Once his eyes no longer stung, Zasshu tried to control his breathing, then winced in pain as something in his chest began to clench and tighten.

"Aaahhhhh!!" Zasshu had to cry out loud, the pain was unbearable.

"Zasshu! Are you okay? What's wrong?" Rukii asked painfully, avraid and hurt to see her eldest brother in so much pain.

The pain came and went, as whatever was tightening up in Zasshu's chest seemed to be tightening and loosening off and on. The pain eventually lessened enough that Zasshu had stopped screaming, but he continued to breathe heavily as the pain had not completely subsided.

Markus and Rukii stood and watched worriedly with their ears laid back. Shinso nudged Zasshu's chin with his nose.

"Zasshu?" Shinso asked, softly. "Zasshu, are you alright?"

Zasshu took a deep breath before answering.

"No." Zasshu said painfully, as talking made his chest hurt more. "Please help me... get to the den."

With that, Markus and Rukii helped lift Zasshu onto Shinso's back. Shinso then carried Zasshu back to the den on his back, while Markus and Rukii followed. Once they reached the den, Zasshu's three younger siblings set him down against the wall of the den across from where Cheyanne was curled around her pups.

Zasshu laid on his side with his arms, legs, and tail spread out, eyes closed tightly, panting lightly and wincing every now and then from the pain in his chest. Shinso and Rukii sat by Zasshu's side as comfort: Shinso laid beside Zasshu and laid his head on his paws, watching him closly, while Rukii remained sitting and licking Zasshu's face comfortingly. Markus turned to Cheyanne and glared at her.

"I saw you find him first, and you left." Markus growled, frustrated with her. "Why did you just leave him there like that?!" he yelled.

"Markus..." Zasshu called softly from where he lay. "Don't yell at her. Please."

Sapphire woke up and heard a scream not far off. "Some wolf is in trouble." Sapphire whispered then she got up from lying in the grass an followed the screaming noise. "I must go and try to help all I can." When Sapphire got to the area where the wolf was screaming she saw that the screaming wolf had stopped screaming but other wolves where taking him away. "No those must be the wolves that made that one wolf scream." Sapphire thought that if she follow the wolves, who were to concentrating on the injured wolf to not notice that she was following them, she would be able to help the injured wolf.
