Cammile motioned to the first two girls. "This is Lin and Rin. They're sisters and live just like 2 blocks away." Then she motioned to the third girl. "This is Rena. She lives a few houses down."
"Heard you're lookin for a friend Volta." Rena giggled.

"Sort of," volta said then slowly rolld up-right onto his feet. "Not really a friend, just someone to have a family with... since she doesn't really want on." she said pointing at CAmmile.

"Weeell." Rena laughed. "You gotta start with a friend first. Theeen we'll see where things go from there."

Volta chuckled, "Works," he said.

Rena climbed up on the porch and sat next to Volta. "So. Volta. Where ya from?"

Volta shrugged, "I'm not sure," he said. "Don't know where I was born... don't know what really happened."

Rena continued to ask him questions as she sparked up basic conversation for the next hour. Rin and Lin left after awhile and Cammile had gone inside, leaving the two alone to talk.

Volta kept giving her answers as best as she could.

Rena yawned. "Gosh it's late huh?" she questioned, looking around. "Well. I better get home."

Volta nodded, "I'll see ya tomorrow." he said before trotting inside.

Rena nodded and pranced off the porch and down the street.
Cammile was laying under the window when he walked in.

Volta looked at Cammile and pranced over to where he always sleeps and of course, went to sleep.

Cammile was up early that next morning, scratching at the collar on her neck.

Volta was up early that morning too. He got used to the time. He looked at Cammile who was scratching at his old collar.

Cammile very carefully slipped it off her neck and onto the floor. She picked it up then dropped it at his feet. "This..is yours." she said.
