A spark of interest shone in the wolfdog's brown eyes as she considered the idea. "I don't know," she said, pondering the question. "We could always test it out."

"With what tho?" he asked, "It would be hard enough for us to find another animal and convice it that we wouldn't hurt it," Loki remarked.
"But after that, Lyna could start talking," Flint suggested, "All we'd have to do is catch itsomehow and bring it to the camp alive."
Loki sighed, "That's the hard part, Flint."

"We could easily find some house-cat that's used to dogs or something, before leaving Lyna," Sadie suggested.

"No 'eave!" Lyna insisted, pouting a little.

"Only for a little while," Flint assured her.
"Oh, ok. Good point," Loki said thoughtfully. "But what if they didn't wanna come? Cats are pretty lazy... and then, thy could be inside," Loki rambled off.

"I'm sure one cat is out there somewhere. Or some other animal," Sadie countered.

Lyna clutched Flint's neck and nodded reluctantly. "O'ay," she agreed slowly.

"Fine," Loki said, "You're probably right."
"Are we almost there?" Flint asked randomly.

"You'll see a house when we are," Sadie replied.

"Good point," Flint said, embarassed. "I forgot we were going to a house."
"It's okay Flint. Let's hurry up tho," Loki replied, taking a bit of a longer stride.

Sadie nodded. "You know, I think some stray cats do live up ahead," she said thoughtfully.

"We'll stop by on the way back," Loki promised.
Flint nodded and kept walking along.

The small house soon came into view, and Sadie found herself reluctantly on the fringes of the yard. "Here it is," she said softly.

"C'mon, it'll just be a short trip," Loki said, entering the yard, and leading Flint into it.
Flint followed, making sure Lyna didn't fall.

Sadie padded up, and gently scratched at the door. It was soon opened, and the woman's eyes lit up as she recognized them. She caught glimpse of Lyna, riding on Flint, and her expression became one of confusion.
