"You have no idea," kejeli started to say, "She was the only surviving cub I had the others died, before she was even born she would've been my forth, you see that's why I love her so much, I don't want to lose her, ever since her father left us she's been my world, you should know the feeling of loving something such as her, You see why I keep her a secret from the other Outlanders, Especially Merah," Kejeli said through her teeth, "Merah threatened to hurt my daughter," she said solemly, "That's why I made her stay here, away from all the Outlanders," Kejeli continued on, "If anything were to happen to her, then I'd have nothing to live for," she said, "If you don't call that love then I don't know what is anymore," she chuckled


Viza giggled as she slid off of the Cheetah's back, she fell onto her back, she quickly grabbed Enamayama around her muzzle with her little paws. "Have you ever met my momman before?" Viza asked.

"Mto most of it is my fault, I should've told you not to go there, when we were up on Pride Rock over looking the land." Furahi said, "To save your life, I tried to give up mine...and also give away the flaws of the Pridelands."

Ajali flew in circles around both Adimu and Merah, "So boss, should we go ahead and tell Zira of Kejeli's betrayal?"

"Who?", Enamayama asked in a playful soft voice with glinting blue eyes

Kiara nodded. "I'll do it, if anything were to happen to you," she said. "And I know just how you feel, I feel the exact same way about all my cubs, even Mto... I'm really worried..."

"Yes, but don't go screaming it, alright?" asked Merah. "We still need Zira's plan to go right, so the cubs need kept in the dark."

"No I have not, at least not one-on-one, but former king Simba is an old friend of mine, and I used to babysit Kiara when she was a cub", Enamayama laughed

"In fact, Simba and I have known each other since cubhood...Back then it was the good times, when Mufasa ruled the Pride Lands", Enamayama sighed

"So is there anything interesting about you that you would like to tell me?", she asked the cub

Enamayama stroked the cub with the tip of her semi-fluffy tail in sympathy and she nuzzled Viza with her nose

"If it makes you feel any better, I too have no father...Nor mother. I've been an orphan since I was a young young cub. Until Rafiki the wise baboon found me and adopted me, and he taught me all about the great spirits and how to read the stars for prophesies and omens", said the kind cheetah

"When that stars shine brightly, your path will always be guided by the Great Kings of the past that always look down on us all", She said in a wise voice

"The ones Zira took..." said Kiara, worry clear in her face. "... You're sure Zira isn't going to hurt them?"

Merah peeked in, seeing Zira with the cubs. "Zira, darling, I have something very important to tell you about."

Zira blinked, having been watching the cubs play a bit, and genuinely smiling. "Oh... Cubs, grandma has to talk with Merah now."

Merah looked to her birds. "Watch the cubs, and remember, NO funny business," she said, growling the last part.

Ajali nodded, "Yes Ma'am," he said flying up to a high ledge,


"I'm positive that she won't hurt them. She is using them as bait for you and Kovu, and Simba and Nala, she wants to get you 4 out of the way so she can Rule the Pridelands again," Kejeli said, "She has no interest in hurting the cubs, she is as well brainwashing them making them think she's good,"


"My momma's told me about the Great Kings, but not as much, she didn't say bad things about them, but not good things either, she told me that they were all stories, the always helped me sleep when she spoke of them..." she paused, "If my daddy's gone, do you think he's up there watching over me?" she asked her eyes giving off her innocence,


"Well Kiara...I'd better get back to my daughter..." unbeknownst to Viza and Enamayama she could actually hear them talking, she heard about asking about the fate of her father. "There's something I must tell her before putting her to bed," she said, "We can talk some more later."

"Ok Kejeli", Enamayama turned her head to the Lioness as she spoke, then turned back to Viza

"I'm sure he is young one, each soul belongs among the stars. And he's problebly the brightest of the all to make sure you can see him", she smiled with soft gleaming eyes, she nuzzled Viza gently and got to her paws to let Kejeli talk to her daughter

"Do you two want to be alone?", she asked, slowly inching towards the entrance of the den

"Thank you," Kejeli said to Enamayama, she walked up to Viza and pulled her into a motherly hug, "Viza it's truth time,"

"What do you mean momma?" Viza asked.

"I mean it's time to tell you the truth about your father," Kejeli began, "Your father is alive, alive and well, he left us soon after to look for a Pride for me, him, and our family that we started," she said, a hint of sadness in her voice, "I haven't heard from him since, I have my suspicions that he just forgot about his family...I'm sorry baby...but...I don't think you'll ever see him," she said hugging her baby even tighter.


"It's okay momma," Viza said with small tears in her eyes, "It would've been nice to meet him though,"

"Heh, you would've loved him, and he would've loved you like the way I love you," she then kissed Viza on the forehead, "Love you baby girl," she then picked up Viza and carried to a cozy part of Furahi's den, "Time for bed now sweetie," she said, laying down and placing Viza in her paws.

"Night Mommy." Viza said nuzzling into Kejeli's chest purring softly

Enamayama smiled at the touching moment between Viza and Kejeli, it reminded her of her last days with her own mother. She left the den to give he two peace, and she climbed up Pride Rock where Simba once stood as King before Kovu to watch the sunset(Or is it night already)
