Fang nodded. "Hey...where's Lena and Tai?"

"Come on Tai!" whispered Lena, leading her sister to go see their baby uncles and aunts.

"I love you." said Cachen, smiling.

Twilight smiled. "I heard Katie had kids, how are they doing?"

Fang shook his head. "Never enough adventure for those two."

Lena rolled her eyes and got up to the door to the shed, peeking in through a crack.

Balto chuckled. "Lena, Tai, you can come in...I kinda figured you'd be here." he said, knowing even if he'd told them not to, they'd have come anyway.

Rosie's mother set Goldie out and dried her off before getting Kai and starting to bathe him.

Cachen licked Goldie's cheek. "At least it tastes good."

Twilight smiled and nodded. "Sounds like Katie...what about her mate?"

Fang nodded. "And they've never seen newborns before."

"That's just because they're newborns." said Balto, smiling.

Lena giggled as Kenai cocked his head in the direction of new noises, his two nieces.

"Hey, at least it gets the smell off." said Cachen, smiling.

Twilight nodded. "Sounds like a good idea, but remember, Katie is strong willed and loves her pups, she might not be too keen on it."

Fang smiled at that. "You're a good father, you'd be a good one again."

Kenai crawled over and sniffed at Tai, wondering what she was.

"They'll still be your aunts and uncles." said Balto, smiling down at his newborn children. "But always be good to them."

Rosie's father dried Kai off and set him down. He motioned for one of the three adults to be washed.

Twilight nodded. "I know, but at least wait till she recovers though."

"Thanks." said kodi, helping Katie over to Rosie's father.

"Of course we will, Grandpa." Tai said, sniffing Kenai in return. "He's so cute." she said softly, gently nosing his tummy.

Denali climbed over her mother, laying on Jenna's back, to give little yips and wihmpers at Lena, almost protectively.

Kai shook out his fur, looking about for his sisters. He silently sneaked off to find them.

Bashkei nodded, smiling. "I know. I would never hurt my daughter so bad." he said, remembering how he had hurt her by sayign she could not be with Kodi. "I'll wait until she's feeling better. But, once you see him. Twilight, you'll know Kai would be much happier in this enivroment."

Fang helpped Katie along as well. "Katie...I'm glad you're so strong willed, that's your best trait."

Ken laughed cutely and licked her, still blind but already knowing it was a relative.

Lena smiled, putting her face close for the little female to sniff so she'd feel safer.

Twilight nodded. "But you do remember how strong willed Katie is, right?" he asked. "She scared a Wolverine away from a group of pups once by herself. You haven't even done that."

Katie laughed a little, licking her lips free of any meat. "I get it from both my parents."

Tai giggled softly, giving little Ken a lick back.

Denali sniffed Lena, before licking her nose and yipping cutely.

Bashkei nodded, smiling. "She gets that from me." he said with a light laugh. "But you forget her mothering instinct. She knows what's best for her children. Do you forget she also protected them and kept those pups calm until we were able to go find them?"

Fang nodded. "I'm very glad you didn't break in there, I don't know what would've happened if Mako had broken you."

Blaze whined and ran over, pushing up next to Ken, wanting Tai's attention too.

Lena licked the tiny pup back. "She's so cute Grandma Jenna."

Twilight nodded. "The pup's grandfather is Balto, isn't he?" he asked. "I seem to remember Nava saying Balto and his daughter helpped save their pack."

"I'd be pregnant." Katie said, giving a grin. "Which I do not like at all, unless it's with my mate.' at this, Kodi blushed.

Tai laughed, licking both pups happily. "Don't worry, I have time for you too!" she said happily, nuzzling them.

Kai slowly, nudged the door opene, looking in with shock at his two sisters.

Derbin yipped, nudging by his sister and whining, wanting Lena to pay attention to him too.

Jenna smiled. 'I'm glad they like you."

Bashkei nodded. "yes. He told me. It is odd how my daughter and his son are now mates, and how he helped my brother."
