Patch`s face wasnt angry anymore, it was serious. He sighed. "I guess I missed you too, I missed the old Eclipse, the fun Eclipse, you have been a stick in the mud ever since you ran away with Jessi." Replied Patch.

Her ears slightly flickered as she heard the howl, she dropped down and bit her paw hard, blood came out "Suck it up!" She snapped to herself, sucking the tears back.

Patch sighed as he walked through town. He looked at a musher training his dogs, but it seemed he was one short. Patch barked and the musher walked over to him. "Hey boy, you want to join?" He asked. Patch barked in reply and wagged his tail. The musher got the dogs to race around the block, but Patch beat them by a long shot. So Patch got harnessed up as lead dog, he became best pals with a husky called Sammy. That night Patch returned to his parents den. "Dad! Dad! I got to be lead dog of a sled team today." He said, showing of his new collar.
"Thats good son." Replied Kirby as he went back to sleep, snoring like he always did.

Alaska walked off as she saw her brother run back home and she smiled "He is so weird.." She told herself as she walked out to her new home.

Patch ran to the shed where the musher kept his dogs, he layed down on a flour sack and yawned.
