Luke looked to her and burst into tears, buring his face in her shoulder. "I-I want to say goodbye b-but..." he stuttered. "I-it hurts to...I don't want to say goodbye...b-but I know I need to...it hurts so much!" said the conflicted puppy.
Tina nodded to, feeling the same way as her siblings, trying hard not to cry. "I'm so sad..."
Aleu nodded. "I know...but he has to be where he belongs, we all need to be where we belong."

Aleu tried to think of how to put it. "...Have you ever been there when my eyes glowed before?" she asked.
Luke sobbed a little but looked up and cocked his head. "Adopted?" he asked, not used to the term, as he'd not been around dogs that much.

Luke nodded. "So...you and grandpa are adopting me?" he asked, making sure.
"I have once..." said Tina.
"Well when that happens, I see things...I saw the future, and Luke belongs here, I know that." said Aleu. "But I promise, we'll come visit him, ok?" she asked. "I promise with all my heart, we will come visit your brother some time."
