Kyler looked Damien in the eye, taking in every word he said. Her eyes teared up as well as he spoke and she answered softly, "I know, and you're the same to me." She wiped away new tears, leaving a trail of black on her wrist. "But what if I came with you? There's nothing holding me here anyway, with my sh***y life at home." She hugged him around his waist and buried her face in his chest.

Kyler nodded into his chest and hugged him tighter. "I'd do anything for you." she replied. "My mom was about to kick me out anyway, and I can't live with the thought of you leaving forever, never seeing you again, I just can't..."

Kyler rubbed her eye again, giving up on trying to keep her eyeliner unsmudged. "Well yeah," she said. "You're my best friend, always have been, and now my... boyfriend." she grinned at the last part.
