The Escape *FINISHED*

Cassie was a bit shocked to see the enemies morph, but it was quickly forgotten as a new ambition surged through her veins, overpowering her muscles. She pounced, ignoring Cody's words, landing squarely on one wolf's shoulder. The wolf retaliated, but Cassie only dug deeper into it's skin with her sharp claws. She could feel blood begin to trickle from the wolf's veins. She used her teeth to crunch the spine, then leaded off, leaving the wolf paralyzed. Her teeth and claws where dripping with sickly crimson liquid, her pelt bloodstained, lips drawn back into a menacing snarl.

Ben roared. The sound was deafeningly loud, shaking the entire clearing. A growling wolf stepped forward experimentally. Ben lunged, but the wolf was fast. It dodged him nimbly. Ben let out another roar of frustration, swiping with a dangerous paw.

Sevrin was surprised, they trusted him that quickly, he was expecting it to go through some steps before they trusted him, but he shrugged it off, he morpphed into his were-fox form and followed the lead of Cody, he bolted to his side, "I'm with Cody, we will take them down either way...Like i said before, i've done things that gave me the death sentence, i don't care if i live or die in the world,"

Cody chuckled and said "You are not the only one who deserves a death sentence Sevrin. I deserve about 1000 of them, at least. I am ashamed of what I have done but it doesn't matter anymore. The wise man lives for today, not in the past nor in the future." Cody looked horror struck when he seen a wolf who was near Cassie bite her. Cody went on a rampage and rammed into the wolf who had Cassie in his jaws. The wolf dropped Cassie while Cody dealt a crippling blow.

Erin dodged as a wolf lunged at her, it's jet black fur glinting dully. It skidded to a stop, snapping it's large fangs angrily. Erin clawed him, blinding him with razor sharp claws. Blood leaked down his face, and he started to retreat, his blood already pooling on the floor. Eirn watched him go in satisfaction, waiting till he was out of sight before rejoining the fight. Two wolves ganged up on her, clawing and biting her, growling furiously. She threw one of them off, her wound from the gun reopened. She panted as she rammed into the larger wolf, clawing at him. THe pain was clawing at her now, blood trickling out of the small hoole in rivulets, staining her black fur. THe large wolf shook his head, dazed, and Erin took the opprutinity to claw at him again, quickly ending that particular fight. Ignoring the blood that was dripping fromm the wounds the 2 wolves had given her, she flew at another wolf, her claws outstretched.

Jocelyn watched the couples and sighed. A strange throbbing ache suddenly apeared around her heart and her eyes began to water. No, he's gone. Nothing to do now.... she reminded herself. She would not dig into her memories and remember that horrible night. Seeing the were-wolf, Cody, was taking the leader role in the group and grimaced. A werewolf for a leader, she snorted. She watched as they lept into battle and began to play with her hair, she had had her fill and didn't need anymore blood. After a few moments, Jocelyn grew bored and lept off the tree branch. A wolf raced towards her. Like all were-animals, he was bigger than a normal wolf and he could inger her, seriously inger her. She jumped into the air, doing a flip as the wolf tried to bit her head. She landed gracefuly on her feet, half in a crouch.The wolf hesitated before he sprinted towards her. Jocelyn ran. She wasn't sure where she was going, but she saw Cassie and the others out of the corner of her eye. She stopped suddenly and flung her arm around just intime to hit the wolf full force in the space and he was thrown 50 yards back. She smirked. "If you want to kill me you'd-" she was cut off as a tan colored wolf smacked into her side and knocked her off her feet. She landed on her back with a thud and a large paw pressed down on her chest. She stared up in shock at the wolf that had pinned her down. She gasped. It's him! She couldn't belive what she was seeing. It was him! Anger suddenly flared up like a flame inside her, rimming her pupils red. With a screach of pur rage, she kicked into the wolf's side and sent him flying back. Without hesitation, she lept onto the wolf and broke his neck. She stepped away from the wolf when she suddenly realised what she had done. Tears weled up in her eyes and spilled over onto her checks. She sunk to the ground and wrapped her arms around the wolfs neck and started to sobb. She lay her head against his chest and stayed like that.

Erin quickly dispatched him, and turned to see Jocelyn crying, hunched over a tan wolf whose fur was soaked with red, his neck twisted, her eyes empty and hollow. She ran over to her, concern coursing through her. She quickly reached her, and looked at her, hoping she was ok. "Jocelyn?" she asked tentivaly, unsureof what to say.

Jocelyn faced Erin and hssed at her. After a few moments of glaring, Jocelyn turned back to the tan wolf and lay her cheeck against his shoulder and sighed. "Sorry," she said, struggling to control her emotions.

Cody looked at the last wolf. He howled and the wolf howled back, signaling a duel between the two. The two leaders of both of the groups. Cody and the wolf growled at each other and finally clashed. They tore each other up until Cody finally threw down his enemy and ended his life. He looked around and seen that everyone was alright except for Jocelyn. He howled a howl of relief mixed with pain then collapsed onto the ground.

Erin was still slightly worried about Jocelyn, and the pain from her nemurous wounds was annoying her. SHe heard a thud behind her, after a drawn out howl/ Cody. She turned, racing to him, worry for him coursing even deeper. She morphed into human, leaning on the ground, mud soaking into the knees of her already filthy jeans, mixed with a little blood. "Are you ok/" she asked, her violet eyes wide and concerned.

Cody smiled and licked Erin. He said while trying to look around them "I've been better. Is everyone okay?" He looked back at Erin and pleaded to her by saying "Please, tell me no one got hurt. Please."

"Everyone that I have seen is fine," she said, smiling at the phantom trace of his light kiss. "Including me," she said, then noticed the blood that was still seeping out of her re-opened bullet wound. "On second thought, lemme check on that," she said, pressing a hand to the small hole.

Sevrin nodded, "I'm fine," Sevrin said, morphing back into his human form, he had multiple scratches on his back, but it wasn't as bad as when he was shot with both a Silver bullet and a tranquilizer, "We should get going before more come, once you are ready, i'll keep an eye open"

Cassie stopped her fighting and watched the center battle, eyes wide and wild. She ginned triumphantly as Cody tore the life from the enemy leader. She turned to see the other wolves still standing around, the shock and devastation clear in their narrow, evil eyes. She stepped forward threateningly, mouth open wide, blood-dipping teeth showing. The wolves glanced at her nervously, then scurried when she lunged with a yowl. Cassie watched them disappear, then morphed, sighing in relief. She faced the group, blueish-gray eyes shining with worry. Her mouth still held the taste of blood, and her hands remained sticky with the dirty red liquid.

Ben morphed as well. Though he was not a fan of blood and dirt, he grasped Cassie in a comfort hug. Releasing her, he turned to Cody. "I think we're all OK," He replied.

ERin's hand was soon wet on the palm, her shirt stained. "She lifted her hand slightly, then quickly put it back over the re-opened hole, a fresh stream of blood pouring out. Her other cuts and bites were bleeding and aching too, but this one was the worst.

Ben started shocked at Erin's scars, not having noticed them earlier. "Maybe not..." He mumbled.

"Erin, are you OK??" Cassie gasped. She scurried over to inspect the wounds.

Ben followed the were-lynx more slowly, watching to see how she reacted. Perhaps his brain would cooperate and he could actually use some of the medical lessons he had learned years ago.
