[Balto, Complete] So wrong, but it feels so right [Part 1]

Blitz watched the rest of the events unfold without interferring much more and only blinked twice as Slyth looked to her in goodbye to show she understood. But as Dart began to give chase, she decided that it was now time to reveal herself. She dashed after him, pulling up alongside and whispered in his ear as she ran with him.

"You know, I never really did want to join your gang when you asked me. I wanted to be a racing dog, like my mother. The only reason I ever considered your offer was because of what I am. But I don't need that false security anymore and I won't let you take away the family and security that Storm has with Slyth, Saba, Max, Balto, Jenna and Kodi."

Her eyes flashed in the falling light dangerously as she caught his eye for the final time and then leapt to the side, towards him, tackeling him down to the ground. She rolled him onto his back, belly facing up towards her and pinned him with her legs and gripped her teeth around his neck so that he didn't even think of making any movements toward Slyth and the others while she had him.

She growled through the flesh and fur clamped in her maw, "You're not going anywhere near them ever again if I have anything to say about it." She hadn't pierced the skin yet, but her fangs were dangerously close to doing so and she continued, "Even if I do decided to let you live for now, if you so much as whisper to Storm again I'll gut you and leave your entrails on the street for all to see. But that's only if I let you live right now."

Dart groweld in pain and looekd at blitz.

"You know what Blitz, your sicken me your just a coward and onlyc ame out when I had my abcked turned, I never layed a paw on that pup he came to me!" he spat and growled at her with a sick look.
Storm had seen what blitz had done and he had enogh slashing hisbrother he jumped free of his grip and ran infornt of dartt.

"leave him alone!"

Saba gasped and turned, cutting Storm off she nipped him in the neck, it wasn't playful and it owuldn't break the skin, just a nip to show she meant business, she was not in a good mood "Storm, turn the other way! NOW!"

Blitz snarled and bit down harder on his neck, still standing over him and pinning him to the ground. Her teeth broke through the skin and blood began to flow slowly from the currently small puncture wounds. "The way I see it, you're the coward. You're afraid to trust humans just because the one you had when you were young decided they didn't want you. They sold you to a new family and if you would've just stayed with them instead of running away, you would've been happy. And your back wasn't turned, I came from the side where you could see me full well you idiot.

"As for the pup, he's young and foolish and you shouldn't have tried to get him to renounce his home and his chance at happiness. He has people who love him so much that they came to his rescue even when he was a total prat to them. He spat in their faces by coming here and they're still willing to take him back. That's a really strong family connection, and I won't let you break that without at least giving them the chance to tell him how they feel and see then how Storm feels."

She kept her teeth tightly around Dart's neck, preventing him from moving and glared, her eyes locked with his the whole time. It was clear that she meant business and he wasn't going to get away from this without learning some sort of lesson, or at least without scars.

Slyth was growing tired of his brothers behavior. He wasn't himself but still, he was getting agrivating. Frustrated, Slyth pulled Storm away from Dart by his tail. "Storm, how can you choose this dog, who wouldn't give a ***** about you, over your family? You're not thinking straight. Im really sorry about this, but it's the only way. You've brought me to this" then, reluctantly, he squeezed storm where his neck joined his shoulders. Knocking him out. Frowning down at the unconcious body of his brother he glanced up toward Blitz who was still pre occupied with Dart and said "ill see you soon Blitz" then bent down, picked Storm up by the neck, and ran off. Going as fast as he could so as to get as far away as he could from that junkyard. His legs quickly took him to the hospital.
Slowing to a stop infront of the building, he looked back behind him, storm still hanging from his jaws, to see if anyone had followed him.

STorm found hismelf kncoked out cold, his eyes slowly opened and he looked around, he saw he was in slyths mout using all his strength he manage dto sya three words.

Max followed Slyth he was hurt that Slyth had to do that to Storm but it was for his own good he had to think about how Dart wouldnt care for him like his family then looked at Slyth "how are we going to keep him from running again ........you know what nevermind i'll watch him i'll make sure he doesnt he doesnt know what hes doing and i think we all know he'll do it again"

"What? Are you shocked to silence because I'm telling the truth? Get used to it, because any way you look at it, you're the one who's wrong and I'm right." Blitz held onto his neck, the blood still flowing steadily against her teeth. She could taste it now and it brought a surge of instinct through her body, the urge to kill, but she resisted it for the moment and simply held on, not letting up her grip. Her eyes moved upwards briefly to see Faline, but the female husky would know better than to move or Blitz would just as soon rip out Dart's throat.

Dart would not las much longer out the corner of his eye storm saw this, he fogot about his slow energy he forot about his weak body at the moment he just ran as fast as he could and sunk his claws into blitzs back, he was now on top of her and he did all he could, he sunk his teeth into her neck, not caring what happened to him, just wnating to help dart free, he could feel teh blood staniing his teeth as he sunk deeper, he would not let go till blitz let go of dart, and right now he would hold on too the biiter end if thats what it took.

Blitz's ears shot up as she heard Storm racing towards her, but otherwise she didn't move. She figured he'd just try to push her off Dart, but as his weight landed and he sunk his teeth in, her eyes widened, her teeth clamped tighter on Dart's neck and her body bucked out of both instinct and surprise. In an instant she found herself at least a foot away from Dart, who was still laying there, and she had slammed her body to the ground and rolled slightly, trying to push Storm off.

She regained most of her senses and realized it was only him on top and lessened her actions against him because he was weak. Once she had rubbed him off her, she stood and padded slowly back to Dart, but halted as she saw the blood gushing out onto the dirt next to his neck from the large gash made by her teeth. She froze and thought to herself, 'What have I done...'

Her eyes searched his face and watched his chest raise and lower before looking back to his neck. She'd torn out nearly the whole front by accident as Storm had landed on her, ripping arteries and veins. She had indeed ripped out his throat...

somehow, Storm had managed to wriggle free from him again and vanished from sight. Slyth didn't need to think twice about where Storm was going, and immediatly started for the location. His long legs kicking him forward. He stopped suddenly once he saw Blitz standing over Dart. Storm behind her. He swallowed nervously before stepping forward. Glancing down at Storm, he walked past the small pup and towards Blitz. Something didn't seem right. "er, Blitz?"
Then he saw Dart's throat. Blood gushing out, onto the ground. Slyth had to look away, he felt himself gag.

Blitz stared down at Dart in disbelief, unable to move her eyes from him, even as Slyth walked up to her. Her ears, though lowered, had flinched as he had spoken, though she made no other physical movement to show that she had noticed Slyth's arrival. "I..." Her tone was shaky and she felt herself trimble underneath her own weight at the thought of what she'd just done. It may have been accidental, but either way she'd done it.

She slowly began to back away from the dog laying on the ground before her, not paying attention to where she was headed. She felt the need to run, to get away. Her mind was screaming, 'It was an accident! It wasn't supposed to happen! I was just going to let him walk away with a warning, I was bluffing. I didn't mean to...' but she found no strength to voice this. Her breathing quickened and her heart raced as she finally rose her eyes to meet Slyth's face, a look of horror plastered on her own.

Slyth was having a hard time to take in this. He was confused as to what exactly had happened. He'd completely forgotten about Storm, by the way Blitz was acting, he felt worried about her. He assumed Dart was dead and, he knew Blitz would never do something like this on purpose. Even though she said she would, it was bluffs. But she did a good job of hiding that.

He glanced at the blood spewing from Darts throat, he felt sick to his stomach and looked away. Shuddering. He had to clear his throat again before he could speak. "Blitz. . . what happened?" then, seeing the look she gave him he added "er, are you okay?"

Blitz was still trembling and her voice still shaky and somewhat frantic. "I...I didn't mean to..." The five words that spilled out were all she could handle at the moment. Her mind had gone into a chaotic state following the site of Dart's blood on the ground. She Knew that he was still alive, or at least his heart was still beating, because his blood continued to poor out of the wound, for now. But a blow like that was fatal and Blitz knew that all too well.

She took a couple more shaky, baby steps backward, the look of disbelief still plastered on her face, even as she looked at Slyth. Her tail had drooped and curled itself under her in a weak, submissive gesture and her ears had flattened themselves against her head.

"It wasn't...I didn't mean...Storm...the tackle..." Fragmented sentences were all that seemed to be able to come from her maw. Amazingly enough, the little blood that had managed to get on her maw had dried. As Storm had tackled her, her teeth had shredded the skin so quickly and she'd rolled to get Storm off her so the majority of the blood had been rubbed or sent flying from her fur.
