Cheyanne dropped the bone. "I said I'm leaving the pack."

Zasshu's ears perked at that. His mate, leaving him? And everyone else?

"Why are you leaving, Chey?"

'Because it's time. You can come with me if you'd like. I just need to find a new pack or start a new one."

Its me! This is actually the demon, god whatever version of her(me). Her real form looks the same but her eyes are orange. BTW the green stuff is smoke..... lol

Nice. Awesomeness. :p Btw sorry about my last pm. I know it was probably weird and random for you. And awkward. heheheh I meant no harm by it though.

"Sure. I'll go with you." Zasshu answered. "But we should talk to our son Keehl first. You know, to make sure he's ready to take on the responsibilities that come with being the new Alpha. I just... want my son to do well."

Zasshu walked up to Cheyanne, and stood beside her, looking her straight in the eye.

"And if you want, Chey" Zasshu licked her cheek. "We could start a new pack." he finished with a smirk.

"No." she moved her head away from him. Just then, a male wolf came up, he looked just like Cheyanne, but well, bigger. "I said you can come with me." The male licked her chin, she smiled at Zasshu for a moment. "Come on." she added.

Zasshu caught sight of the male wolf, and Zasshu's ears twitched. He looked down and closed his eyes. Then he gave Cheyanne a small smile, but no eye contact.

"Okay." he answered.

The male looked at Zasshu, he looked puny to him. "You ready to go?" he asked, Cheyanne nodded, her black fur swaying in the wind. "Come on Zasshu." The male had a deep voice. Deeper than her father's so Cheyanne suspected Zasshu thought they were related. But hell, she didn't know. Cheyanne and the male took lead, she looked back to make sure Zasshu was following. Once they arrived, the new territory was much larger and plentiful game roamed the land..

Zasshu looked around, observing the new land, closing his eyes and letting the wind blow through his fur. He smiled to himself, catching the scent of fresh pine.

The pack grew larger in the next week. Cheyanne had another litter of pups. She had gotten pregnant while still in Zasshu's pack, which explained why she was plump for a while. Not because she was getting fat. During that period she stayed away from Zasshu until she told him she was leaving. In the den, she lie on her side as the pups nursed. The larger male was out hunting for food, so it was just her in the den. Until Zasshu came in. It was awfully hot outside and then den was nice, cool and damp. Pine trees surrounded the den, blocking any wind from blowing hot air around. Cheyanne lifted her head upon his entrance. "Hey." she smiled, watching him move across the den. Cheyanne licked the pup farthest away from her, changing her position to reach him.

"Hey." Zasshu answered, panting quietly after coming into the cool cave and out out of the scalding hot sun. It was mid-summer, after all.

Zasshu took a deep breath, at sat in front of Cheyanne. He looked down at the tiny furballs nursing from their mother. He remembered when Cheyanne gave birth to her first litter that he gave her. Zach, Carlos, Aspen, and Carla. He missed his oldest children's pup days.

He smiled softly down at the newborns now.

BTW, the male's name is Loki. I hadn't figured out a way to tell in the RP but here)

Cheyanne moved her leg back in front of her, licking the pad before looking back at Zasshu. When she did, the larger male wolf entered the den. He caught a small hare. He dropped it and growled at Zasshu. "It's alright." Cheyanne looked past Zasshu and back at the male. Loki picked up the hare and made a bee line towards her. Dropping the hare in front of her he quickly moved in front of Zasshu, making him scoot back. "Move." Loki lowered his head, the shifted it back towards the pups. One of the pups shared an odd color of white around the paws. Though Cheyanne had not traces of white in her genes, there layed a sleeping pup with white. Loki didn't smile, he took off back outside. Announcing he was looking for more food. Which was actually believable since a hare was their only food source at the time. Cheyanne layed her head on her forepaws. "So, anything you want to talk about?" she asked looking up at Zasshu.


This is the odd pup.

"Yeah." Zasshu said. "Who's the father?" Zasshu then looked back toward the den's entrance. "There's that, and also, what's that guy's problem with me?" he huffed.

Cheyanne hesitated, then glanced back at Zasshu. "He's protective over me. He's the father. I'm six years old and it was time for me to find a new mate. I couldn't very well tell you the truth.. " Just then, one of the puppies made a lound cry. Cheyanne turned her gaze to her and licked her small form. She then looked back at Zasshu. "I'm sorry, but my dad did the same thing."

"Cheyanne, have you forgotten?" Zasshu said solemnly. "He's not the only one. The day you and I became mates, I swore to you that I would always protect you, and that I would even die for you. And have you also forgotten that that same day, I told you that you should not be afraid to tell me anything? That you could tell me anything, no matter what it was?"

Zasshu turned toward the exit.

"First I lost my son, Zach. Even though he may have been twisted, he was still my son." Zasshu growled. "And now... I've lost you too. Why? Why is everyone betraying me? What have I done to deserve this? I don't understand."

Zasshu then left the den, and tread off into the forest. Finally, he found a grassy cliff on the side of a ridge. He layed down in the grass at the edge of the cliff, and gazed down at the land below him, angry and deep in thought.

A little after he left, Loki came into the den. Another hare dangling in his mouth. "Where's the mutt?" He trotted over, letting the hare fall. "He ran off." Loki growled, "He ran off? Where?" he licked his lips. "I'll be back." Cheyanne didn't hafe time to ask where he was going. But she knew he was after him. She left her pups in the den and looked around for Loki. Dead gone. She howled, telling Zasshu he was after him. After all, she didn't want him killed.
