Sorry. But you do have a point. I should'nt Worry. I guess it's Not many people comment , Therefore , I think I'm underated and it makes me not have the inspiration to draw much. But I should learn to draw just to please my own self. BTW , Natti , The guide helped me with that Catfamily story. Thank you very much.

That right there. Draw for yourself. Never others. You'll only be downing yourself constantly, and art is supposed to be fun. ;]

There is the occasional case of gift art, but in that case, as long as you do your best, the other person should love and appreciate it no matter what.

Aahhh yes. I was stuck in this rut for a very long time just a few years back. I kept drawing--I would never stop drawing ever, lol, it's part of who I am--but my excitement for posting my work was being crushed. I felt like all that stuff that I had worked hard on was being ignored and disregarded and I felt very, as you stated, underrated. I posted rants about it twice on another forum, the two being a few months apart from each other. The responses, summarized, were along the lines of the following:

The number of comments you receive on your artwork is not proportional to your worth as an artist.

Though I'd heard this advice before, it took some time before it finally really sank in for me. Hopefully that can happen sooner for you.

It feels great to get comments, but just because you don't doesn't necessarily mean that your art is bad. There are many wonderful artists out there who hardly get any comments, and some mediocre artists who get a whole bunch. It's just the Internet. It works in odd ways like that.

So basically...don't let a lack of comments get you down. You have a long way to go, but I've been seeing you put a lot of effort into your work lately, and trust me, that will pay off! Girl, you've got potential--just keep pursuing it! And it is as Roi said: do it for you, for your enjoyment...not for the sole sake of comments. ;)
