Hailey looks at Denno...

Denno had been looking at Hailey, but her eyes connected with his, he averted his gaze to look in front of them. The houses were beginning to look familiar. "We're almost there," he said, still refusing to look at the husky.

Hailey looks at him."Do you hate me?"She asked.

Kayla walked to the fox. "Hey be nice!" she scowled.

"Uh..." DID he hate Hailey? No...he hated Riley and Angel snuggling up together when they were around him and prissy show dogs.
"No."

Hailey looks at him."Then how come whenever I look at you or smile you don't?"She asked.

"I just don't," he replied. Awesome answer, genius! Denno scolded himself. Now she'll hate you.

Kayla growled at the fox.

Hailey looks at him then in front of them.

The fox just snarled at Kayla and its mate came out. Both animals bared their teeth at the dogs.
"May they have kits in there," Kandas said.

Hailey sighed. She looked at the big house in front of her.

Kayla nodded.

There was a lady sitting outside on the porch; she was reading to a child on her lap. Suddenly, the toddler saw Denno standing at the gate with Hailey.
"Denno!" he cried happily and the dog wagged his tail a bit.

Hailey looks at the people.

The lady then saw her dog at the gate and gasped. She quickly put the book down and, while holding her child in her arms, she walked down to the gate and opened it. "Come here, Denno."

Denno looked at Hailey and slowly took a step forward, hoping she'd follow his lead.
